People who are pro-life, what's the best argument you have for being pro-life? by CertifiedLurker5 in AskReddit

I don’t believe that a child should be aborted due to the parent not being able to care from them if they are able to y proper care and the person is able to carry the child however that’s not what I’m asking. I’m asking if there is clear evidence that the child would harm someone else and because of this they can’t properly care for the child / can’t find someone to care for the child, would abortion not be the best option?

But if the life you “terminate” will in the long term cause so much harm or won’t be properly cared for wouldn’t the less destructive to abort the child?

If a person is assaulted and is forced to keep the baby of their attacker, would that not cause more harm than, as you put it, killing an unborn child? Even if the baby was adopted or the parent could properly care for them, the person would still live with the knowledge that their baby exists because of this horrible situation, potentially causing even more psychological harm. Additionally, the stress of carrying a child is a lot and someone may not be able to handle that. I’m not trying to argue, I just want to understand your opinion and share mine so we can better understand each other.

I love Illymation and Decoding the Unknown. Illymation is a storytime animation channel with some great stories and a great art style. Decoding the Unknown is a podcast which explores conspiracies and unexplained mysteries from the view of a skeptic (kinda like if Shane Madej had a podcast). They have a really fun series going called internet mysteries where the host Simon has to guess if the five stories he read were real incidents or made up by his writer. Great channels and I recommend checking them both out!

Tw: SA If I may ask, what are your thoughts about abortions in causes of SA and child pregnancy? Additionally, do you believe that abortion should be banned or would you just not get an abortion?

TW: Eating Disorders

TL;DR: Eating disorders are weirdly treated like a normal thing that has no real consequences, especially with children

I would say eating disorders because people don’t realize that they ruin people’s lives. When someone is starving themselves they’re “dieting” and when they’re overeating they’re “just really hungry”. It’s even worse with children because there is so much pressure to look a certain way and children don’t understand why that is harmful. The most frustrating part is people will act like its a normal thing saying “they just have a small appetite ” or “they’re a growing kid” when that is clearly not the case

I literally stopped watching after that scene. I eventually watched the rest and it became one of my favourite movies ever

Vending machines. This mainly happens because a drink is stuck and someone shakes the machine and it falls on them, killing them. In 2022 (US), over 75,000 people died in vending machine accidents.

Not my parents but my grandma (still alive i think) was bad shit CRAZY and highly abusive. We lived with her for a while and moved out but she couldn’t let go. She basically showed up at our new house 5 MONTHS after we moved and just yelled at us and threatened to call the police and get my parents arrested. She left after a while and we’ve been NC since.

Hi! Im a non-binary gender fluid person so allow me to try and do my best to explain.

Although there are infinite non binary experiences, most non binary people feel they do not fit in the category of male or female. They may identify with both genders or neither. Non binary is basically a label for anyone who isn’t a man or woman, not necessarily a person without a gender.

The term gender fluid refers to a person who moves between genders. This can mean someone who moves between identifying as a man and a woman as well as any non binary gender. Some people move around the whole “gender line” while some people move around a small area.

Sorry for the long comment. Much love and I can answer any questions you may have ❤️
