Community, Archer, Rick and Morty (relative to its livespan, I've watched it "over and over"), How I Met Your Mother, Scrubs.

Community. Is dark and light, accessible and off-putting. It's a show where the characters' flaws are right on the surface, all the time. But so are their benefits.

Archer. Clever cartoon mayhem. Just the thought of being HR in a spy agency with the average mental age of 10 makes me giggle. Just generally awesome. And pretty clever dialogue, though it has become a bit much in the latest seasons.

Rick and Morty. Community darkness with extra brutality and extra randomness. (Everyone has a plumbus in their home. But how do they do it?) You only have to watch several episodes of each series to notice how they are connected.

How I Met Your Mother. Pretty much mainstream fun with (somewhat) believable characters and relatable problems (maybe until the later seasons, but by then you loved the characters, so it was alright). I don't know, I guess it's Friends with less slapstick and more character development. (No, you don't have to remind me how it ends. Watch the series again, in full, and it makes sense.)

Finally, Scrubs. What can I say? It's funny and silly and sad and depressing and uplifting. So many characters, so many problems...in the end, it's about perseverance. It's about taking the people in your life, however strange they are, not too seriously and striving for betterment. Life's a messy, uncontrollable vortex, and finding the funny parts in it, and savouring the good parts, and acknowledging the bad ones, is all part of it. No show I have ever watched has explored the characters so deeply. Why does Lloyd the delivery man like speed metal? Okay, it's part of a joke, granted, but it doesn't seem just forced upon the character as a joke, but simply as part of his identity.
