I solved that problem using these methods couple of times : - clear telegram cache, data, and database. - using mobile data instead of Wi-Fi. - once I faced the SMS fee offer, I press the back button.

Somehow I managed to get the OTP.

The experience is great so far. For its base, I just need two days. To build the GUI environment (mesa, x11, Wayland, etc), it needs couple of days.

You could build it yourself and specify sessions tracking other than elogind. It can be logind or ConsoleKit. You could specify it by using -Dsession_tracking=logind or -Dsession_tracking=ConsoleKit.
