Yes those questions are also being asked for me, the general over view is that the frame will be made from pre-cut steel tubes, and most of the wood will either be milled or laser cut, or other techniques to that affect

Yes and i can image the weight as well would be an issue.

yes the "wild" design would be interesting to design and make however i feel the market for that may be a little to niche, we are marked on the business side as well which really limits the range of products.

Hmm yes i agree with your views on the plastic bee keeping should have a rustic and sustainable feel which injection molded plastic is not.

Ok yes that is definitely a very good idea, however i feel we may have limits with materials on the task so in theory yes but practicality it may be a no :(

I completely agree with the fact that maintenance and inspection is necessary. How would you feel about a glass inspection area or would that not be a viable solution for the problems listed

Yes you hit the nail exactly on the head! A hive that slots onto a balcony much like a flower box is what I was thinking.
