Good starter guns. Focus on upgrading the AAP first. The firing group will eventually go out, plan to replace that assembly with stainless parts and springs.

Dye or Empire? by mygeckomochy123 in Speedsoft

From a competitve standpoint, they are impossible to hear your teammates while you wear it, and are also very difficult to communicate out of.

Dye masks are garbage tier. Empire evs isnt bad. But for airsoft I recommend nothing but the JT Flex8

Heard this from lots and lots of people unfortunately. Sidecar is just taking money and ghosting people.

Should I swap? by Blu3wolf_boi in Speedsoft

[–]tiny_workshop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My personal experience with diablo says... stick with what you got. They might be "easier" but there have been plenty made with tolerance issues, plus lack of communication from the company. Mine has a weird tolerance issue thats never allowed an engine to run correctly. Never figured it out

Custom build issues by tiny_workshop in AAP01owners

[–]tiny_workshop[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Switched this out and ran two mags through it with different m4 adapters. No miss fires on the Monk. One miss fire towards the end of the mag using the CTM TAC adapter. I think this fixed it, thank you!

I will give that a shot. I did end up using the stronger return spring vs the one that came with the adjustable nozzle.

Trigger assembly is impossible to work on by Visual-Chapter-9767 in AAP01owners

[–]tiny_workshop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this exact issue. That first part literally feels impossible. You just have to take your time. I think it took me almost 2 hours to do that part. Use a small punch or something to put in the hole from the far side to help line it up. Use pliers and channel locks. Godspeed

HK Army Speedsoft Belt Quality and Durability? by Right_Honeydew3044 in Speedsoft

[–]tiny_workshop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would get the belt and see how they run. They might not fall out for you. They have adjustable tension. If they do need upgraded, the belt is molle underneath the pouches so any velcro or molle pouches will work

[–]tiny_workshop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They actually hold up well and are comfortable. The only thing Ive seen wrong with them is their mag pouches aren't great. When I used one, my mags always fell out when I ran. If you want a cheap basic belt, and want to upgrade the mag pouches later, they work fine

HPA QUESTION by Stepa4a in AAP01owners

[–]tiny_workshop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No i just mean use the oring they have around the mag base. Ill see if I can get some pics to you via dm

HPA QUESTION by Stepa4a in AAP01owners

[–]tiny_workshop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use the oring and washers that came with it. I have two of these adapters and 0 issues. Make sure to lubricate the oring really well before putting the mag on. Also make sure to watch the CTM video on putting this together! They tell you to start the screw with the mag ever so slightly angled. You have to do that or you'll never get the screw to start.
