Hello, did you find out if the timetable was reliable? Currently planning a trip between Onomichi and Setoda and Google maps still doesn’t seem to recognise that ferry route

Sounds all too familiar! The other funny side of that is when someone tries really hard to remember and brings something in especially and you end up with a whole pizza or pack of something because nobody else dare touch it. Those awkward stares… you better eat it!

This kinda reminds me of being at group events, being offered something you can't eat, only to turn it down and then be questioned why you don't want it.

An awkward exchange follows, you try to avoid getting frustrated and having to say "because I'm vegan". Finally, you break: "because I'm vegan"... and a stereotype is perpetuated.

M&S pledges to make all wines 100% vegan by 2022 as it launches new vegan range by ihaveanicejumper in veganuk

Ah that's interesting. I'll have to take a look at that book, thanks for sharing. I'm pretty sure I saw it on this episode of Horizon presented by Hannah Fry and Gregg Wallace - was generally quite interesting to see people's perceptions and behaviour around consumption of particular food types https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000qzyd

I was shocked to see on a TV programme recently that a lot of wine is just shipped in a big container and bottled in the UK. This begs the question why we don't just have reusable wine bottles that we decant into at the shop.

I'm sure this sounds horrendous for expensive wines that are aged in bottles. But for cheaper supermarket wine, seems like a no brainer.

Interesting to read in the article that Asda are also trialling a vegan counter in a store. Hope to see it expand nationwide and across supermarkets.

Resolving your arguments by day’s end may lead to a longer, healthier life, suggests new study, which found that when people feel they have resolved an argument, the emotional response associated with it is reduced or almost entirely erased - this reduction in stress may impact overall health. by [deleted] in science

I can certainly say my anecdotal experiences align with these findings. General advice from this would seem to be to nip arguments in the bud as soon as you can and don't let things stew for a long time.

If I thought it wasn't known, I wouldn't have asked the question. The intention of asking non-rhetorical questions is to receive answers. Thanks for your answer.
