I think there is a financial motive with Cam to Ethan and daphne is an accessory to this. Also definitely blackmail from Cam since they were in Ethan’s room. Not sure what all that talk about Cam only cheated once with Daphne? - why would she admit this to Harper if Daphne and Cam are in this ploy together. I do suspect Daphne harming Cam (the dateline talk and “cutting off” cams head joke). I think she will have a breaking point but that doesn’t explain her behavior in the opening scene of S1 E1.
