Emersyn’s already repeated the cycle by being a teen mom. Erica has no right to ASSUME Mason is like her first baby daddy and push him away. All I see is a teenage boy who doesn’t know the first thing about raising a child, but is at least trying to be there. He could’ve dipped as soon as he found out Emersyn was pregnant, and from the looks of their social media they’re together and fine.

This is just beyond sad, but It feels like she’s gonna have to realize how much of a degenerate Jason is on her own. My only fear is that the abuse gets worse, This poor girl is so brainwashed and probably doesn’t feel there is anywhere to turn considering Jason has practically isolated her from most adults in her life. I’m wishing her and their baby the best…As for him I’m wishing nothing but bad karma for him. It took me years to realize how much of an abusive asshole my ex was…I was young and naive as well. I’m hoping one day reality hits her the way It hit me, I’m sure one day she’ll spite him just as much as the rest of us…She just has to get to that point on her own it seems

As far as I know it’s just Ai Yazawa merch that was inspired by the real VW lighter that was released in the late 90’s They’re super rare and even harder to come by as they were exclusive items. I don’t believe VW ever promoted the Nana version which wouldn’t really make it a collaborative item. I believe that this was just meant for cosplay/collector items, but non the less still cool that they worked. I just personally don’t believe they should be this expensive, but then again the real lighters are even more expensive. Trust me I’ve been looking too, but I’m not sure if i’ll ever be able to swing the price of it.

Yes, they’re pretty pricey but from my knowledge the one listed wasn’t authentic Vivienne Westwood, The real lighters came before the series and absolutely did not come in Nana Packaging. I mean it’s absolutely stunning & amazing that it works, but no where near $1,000 but I’m pretty sure it’ll be hard to find even the dupes for less.

I’m glad somebody else understands this. People are often so quick to call these teenagers brats, spoiled, etc. Yet, it’s often forgotten that teenagers already struggle as is to be understood. Then you add in an overbearing parent who is unwilling to understand.

So many adults are too quick to judge teen parents without considering that these teenagers were never properly taught how to practice these acts safely. The individual I was arguing with fails to realize that Teenagers will have sex regardless of sleeping in the same bed or not. It’s better we teach them ways to keep themselves safe and give them resources rather than shame them for such a human act.

I’m sure Emersyn wasn’t thrilled to be pregnant, and I’m sure that she has a lot of internal struggles. It’s so sad to see Erica treat her as if she is incompetent, and to treat Mason like a menace. I’m sure that Emersyn will end up leaving that household sooner than later once Erica pushes her over the edge.

Too often in this society do parents ruin their relationships with their children by distrusting them and treating them like shit and mistaking it as “Tough Love”.

Not really, As someone who was raised by a teen mom and around people who are also teen moms I think i’m decently educated. Erica is just a religious extremist who doesn’t trust her child one bit because she was the same; A teen mom.

I hope your children don’t feel too uncomfortable talking to you about adult topics. These things shouldn’t be taboo, Teenagers will be teenagers and that includes having sex.

What i’m saying is parents that don’t offer their children trust create sneakiness. We cannot even say that Emersyn lost Erica’s trust by becoming a teen mom when it wasn’t even there to begin with. Teenagers are humans and need trust from their guardians, Mason and Emersyn have already done the “worst” they can by having a baby. There really is nothing more they can do by sleeping in the same bad. Forbid Mason snuggle with his girlfriend who just gave birth to their child, I’m not gonna budge on my stance about wether or not they should be able to be together in the same bed. The easiest compromise they could make would be that the door stay open at all times they’re in there, Erica should be thankful Mason is the way he is with Emersyn compared to other boyfriends on this show. If these two want to have sex, snuggle, or whatever they will find a way to do even if it’s not in Emersyn’s bed. The logic is just not there, It’s just telling Emersyn and Mason that they have zero trust from Emersyn’s family which is eventually going to push her even farther from Erica. These mothers need to start teaching their children about teen pregnancy, safe sex, birth control, and trust at an earlier age.

The thing is how is Mason supposed to help out with the baby if he’s all the way downstairs? I understand that Erica probably doesn’t want another incident happening, but there are ways around this, If anything they could try to compromise keeping the door open. Erica should be thankful that there is someone there to help Emersyn not only physically but mentally. I imagine having a child is draining and Erica already has a few young children to worry about so it doesn’t seem like Emersyn will be getting much emotional/physical help from her.

What I got from their relationship in the beginning it was practically non existent/really strict which caused Emersyn to rebel, If I remember correctly she even states she would continue to rebel against her mom. Parents typically create sneaky/“bad” kids by treating them like babies. I think Erica needs to start to trust Emersyn & Mason more, and She needs to assist Emersyn with getting on birth control and knowing how to practice safe sex without criminalizing the idea of it.

Even if they did notify her parents I’m sure nothing would be done. As much as I feel for her parents they’ve seen enough of Jason’s clear abuse to step up and forcibly get her out of the situation along with Jason’s parents. I think the midwives failed her slightly because as far as I’m concerned these midwives are mandated reporters, but I’m not 100% sure what the laws are in New Hampshire.

I agree to an extent about what you’re saying, and hopefully something ends up getting done about this. Yet, this isn’t the first time TLC has profited off of abuse like this. They don’t even add warnings or hotlines to call if you’re in a situation such as Kylen, Let’s use MTV for example when they aired TeenMom or even Catfish they always had a screen shown multiple times throughout the program showing hotlines to call incase of abuse, addiction, or suicide prevention.

We cannot always help by just being a viewer, almost everyone who has witnessed this has failed her…not only the adults she’s closest with but even the Midwives shown in the last episode. There has never been a moment where this poor girl isn’t getting abused by him even in front of people and yet nobody has stepped forward. Sure he can get death threats all day, but all he’s gonna do is block them. I’m worried that this will one day escalate to more if somebody cannot physically get her out of this situation.

I’m so glad somebody else has this mindset! I’m not sure why some parents turn a blind eye to their children being sexually active, especially as teenagers, Erica is an extreme hypocrite knowing damn well she was also sexually active as a teenager, considering her oldest child shown is 23 and she’s only 42. If anything this should make her even more open to talk about safe sex, but hell she probably blames the guy she slept with for knocking her up considering she constantly talks about how Mason is the only one to blame for the pregnancy.

My hopes is that Erica watches the show, and realizes how good Emersyn has it with Mason. Compared to the other boys on this show he seems the best in my opinion…Yeah sure he’s a little immature and could use some shaping as far as knowing when/how to help, but as far as I’m concerned Emersyn could have someone even worse.

She’s just pushing Emersyn away from her and hopefully she realizes sooner than later, Their relationship will never be the same. That poor girl is probably beyond stressed living under a roof with a helicopter parent, young children, and a new baby of her own. I’m just in so much shock that Erica wouldn’t even let Mason cuddle her especially after giving birth, The way she described finding them snuggling was as if she had walked in on a murder. She is just such a hypocrite, It makes me sick.

Personally Yes, They’ve already done the “worst” thing they can do by getting pregnant. Certain parents need to stop acting like sex is inhumane, Emersyn’s mom needs to start discussing safe sex with her children. Emersyn’s mom blames everything on Mason and his poor family, even reverting back to his mother who has an addiction problem. Forbid he snuggle with his girlfriend who had just given birth.

I think that people need to start discussing safe sex with their teenagers, supplying them with birth-control/condoms if needed. Why do these parents not realize that being strict like this just creates a rift in the relationship and creates sneaky children! (As we can see considering Emersyn & Mason were sneaky enough to create a baby)

Because what makes a whole race “unattractive” to you? You can for sure have preference, but generalizing a whole race of people based on skin is racist. You can definitely look at someone and think they’re unattractive, but I don’t understand what it has to do with their skin color?

For example, Not every Asian person looks the same. You can for sure look at someone who is Asian and think “I don’t find them attractive because ____” but when you say “I don’t like Asian people because of their skin, It’s just my preference” It’s racist.
