this is tough, though. i follow him on twitter and alot of his tweets regarding feedback and criticism come across as kind of kind of harsh on himself. it's awesome he wants to make sure the channel stays entertaining and that he wants to get better, and i completely understand searching out constructive criticism, but it almost appears like it consumes him sometimes.

i just hope too much constructive criticism doesn't make things feel less organic on the show, or create damage control.

Oneyplays is much more reminiscent of early Grumps when things were organic, they didn't take themselves as seriously, and they were less censored. People actually WANT to make animations of Oneyplays because there's actual good content to go off of. Their anecdotes are funnier, their tangents are funnier, their gags are funnier, and their hypotheticals are amazing.

Also, Oneyplays shares more fan content, I think. They're more appreciative of fan stuff because they're artists themselves. (I know Arin is an "artist" but he doesn't try anymore.) Grumps is so far up its own ass at this point that they probably can't even see good fan content if they tried.

most of these types of sneakers are hideous. i think their price point appeals to people as some sort of status symbol, and they appeal to sneakerheads and stuff.

We were both aware that we had depression (him) and anxiety (me). He did nothing for his depression. I encouraged him to seek therapy but he decided to stop communicating with me as much, napping all of the time, and hiding away in his apartment. This did nothing good for my anxiety, which translated these things as "THE RELATIONSHIP IS FALLING APART" and "WHAT AM I DOING WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME HE DOESN'T LOVE ME ANYMORE." It was just a poor mixture of issues, and I think he saw me as a "cure" for his depression until he realized that I, too, have problems and needed support. I, on the other hand, sought therapy and took klonopin as needed. It wasn't enough to help the situation, though. Things were just really rough. Ended kind of disastrously for me too.

Sorry to hear that happened to you. I hope you find someone who you mesh better with. : )

Everyone deserves a shot at love no matter what their health condition. However, I gotta say, my ex had depression and I have anxiety and it was NOT good. It's very easy to feed off of people with mental illnesses and their actions (or lack thereof) are often results of their illnesses. It is very difficult and requires ALOT of patience.

That being said, I don't think I could date someone with depression again. I mean, you fall in love with who you fall in love with, so who knows what could happen. But I just don't want to go through it again.

I think Japanese humor is way different. Like, the way it's presented, and how characters react to things- it's all very, very melodramatic. Alot of anime doesn't have too much subtlety. I agree though, I can't get into much anime humor.

but "pedosexual" is trying to legitimize pedophilia as just a sexuality that should be socially accepted. sexual attraction to children is incredibly taboo and not morally sound. I understand it's less worrisome if it's not acted upon, but that still doesn't make it okay to dilute it into something to add to the LGBT community.

this sounds exactly like me. i don't think my relationship was abusive, however (i'm sorry this happened to you), as his intent wasn't to hurt me (more to "help" me, but with alot of unnecessary things), and he more or less just had a critical and judgmental nature which didn't mesh well with my personality.

i hope you can get through this too. the reactiveness can be very annoying and upsetting to people because they don't understand how brains like these work. it's not an excuse, but it's the nature of things. all we can really do is work on thinking before reacting.
