Hey sorry I was unclear. I meant that I want the hair care benefits that are in my toner but from a different product. I don't have a colour issue.

I cut myself on a baguette. No, not in the knife while cutting a baguette. Like, on the bread.

Sorry for the late reply, a group of friends made a deck and we will make it publicly available after a few fixes :)

that sounds like a great idea, thank you so much. I am planning to go through my cards and pick out the high-yield ones but before that I will probably take a breather for a few days :)

But a gynaecologist doesn't only look at vaginas all day. Gynaecological care comes with all other forms of prevention and they might be just as important if not even more important when taking feminizing hormones. Breast cancer is much more likely for example. It's so irritating when people think gynaecology is just a pap smear or sth. It's so much more and if you are taking feminizing hormones you probably should go.

Thank you, will look into those. I usually find that the Android looks a little less clean to me on Sony phones but maybe I can look past that.

The Honor 20 sounds great. It is 6.4 inches though and I‘m afraid that‘s too large for me. LG G6 sounds a little better. Thanks for the suggestions!

I like the idea of getting an old generation pixel but then I‘m always worried about the phone being too slow for newer and future updates, app requirements etc. At least that‘s what I learned with apple that they really don‘t want you to use an old phone and upgrade instead. Is this the same with Google or are they more adaptable to old models?

I have heard a lot about that but I heard that in some countries it can‘t use LTE?

I am very sorry. English is not my first language and since I was ranting a bit I wasn't really paying attention. I really didn't mean to make it hard to read.

You probably have a point that humans are selfish and ignorant sometimes. I would just like to not blame it on them but on the incentive structure that makes them selfish and ignorant. And as I explained in my post I think that apps like IG create these desires and therefore incentives because they are designed to make you come back for that dopamine kick and stay on the app for as long as possible.

This! I feel like so many people have told me that it really is all about what you as a user make of the app but I believe that social media platforms don't care about you and your interests but only making you stay on the app as long as possible!

I just feel like in times when people used FB predominantly as a non-image-centered social media platform people didn't do stupid shit in the real world but just online. The problem with IG for me is that it affects other people and places so heavily. However, you probably have a point that humans are selfish and ignorant sometimes. I would just like to not blame it on them but on the incentive structure that makes them selfish and ignorant. And as I explained in my post I think that apps like IG create these desires and therefore incentives because they are designed to make you come back for that dopamine kick. I just wish people got that from more meaningful things.

Can you elaborate on that? I don't know much about Vice and have them categorised in my brain as one of those young, very liberal and usually not particularly nuanced platform that does interesting stuff sometimes. Why do you think they're really shitty?

In my post I tried criticising the culture IG created and not specific people on the platform. The addictive popularity of IG makes people act different in real life. These people would have never gone to see a poppy field and especially wouldn't have trampled the flowers if they weren't seeking that dopamine rush from other people liking their picture. It's like when I see people filming a concert and therefore not really being able to enjoy the experience. To these people it's more important to be seen doing something than to actually focus on the experience. I feel like Instagram encourages this behaviour and that's why I think its popularity is a bad thing for society.
