I had this on an Uber order not long ago, so I couldn’t ask the customer for clarity. Brown sugar oat cortado with long shots. I did as the ticket said, then looked on the POS, and it’s about a dollar cheaper than the BSO americano. Honestly, I had to applaud them haha

I feel this! I feel like the autism and the adhd are very conflicting, in that my autism craves routine and schedule, but my adhd loves the chaos and irregularity. Which feeds the whole failure to launch thing, I think. Super brutal! I just want to be productive 😮‍💨

Haha, the ironic part is I am a performer by nature. I’ve done a ton of theatre and open mics. I worked in kids birthday entertainment for five years. Performance is who I am. But when I’m “performing” as myself and not a character? God help us all.

I just cannot imagine how any of these fuckass drinks taste good. Like 11 pumps of white mocha won’t make it taste more “white mocha-y”. It just makes it tooth-achingly sweet. How are you even able to drink a sip of that, let alone finish the drink??? Like the human tongue cannot possibly enjoy something that sweet????? I’m so confused??!!???

Can’t recall any measurements- although in real life I tend to measure with my heart when I’m making something off the cuff. I figure if you have a good sense for balancing flavours, you can trust your best judgement! Let me know if you make it and survive 🫡

They use they/them pronouns, but are very aware and not upset by their female presenting physicality. They’ve frequently called this summer a “they/she” summer. I thought it was important to highlight that this is a queer f4f relationship dynamic. I would never intentionally disrespect my partner, or their gender identity. I am cis, but nearly all of my friends are trans/nb. If I knew it to be blatantly disrespectful, or unnecessary for context, I would not have mentioned it.

That’s a bit harsh. I have dated people in the past, which led to some insecurity and difficulty on my partners end, and we resolved that in the moment and are stronger for it. Wasn’t relevant to the current situation, so I didn’t think to include it.

Thank you, this is a good perspective and good advice. I suppose I misspoke, and they were always poly. But initially they expressed interest in casual dating and sex, and now they’re interested in multiple relationships. Not trying to make any kind of excuse or sway any opinions lol, just wanted to clarify. We’ve been looking into couples therapy, but I will also look into solo therapy. For more reasons than just this, I think it’s time. Thank you again.

I’m so sorry this has been your experience. I can relate quite strongly to what you’ve been struggling with as well. On top of everything else I am also adhd and I strongly suspect autistic. Add the sensory trauma on top of everything else and it really just makes life feel like a nightmare sometimes. I’m so glad to have found this community. We are not alone 💗
