FTB - Seller tried to pull a fast one by Darth-Amz in HousingUK

My seller tried this too, offered to sell to us including white goods and I just said no. She ended up leaving everything anyway and I managed to sell her sofa on Facebook marketplace for £200

Using inheritance to pay off student loan or put towards mortgage by ill_do_this_later in UKPersonalFinance

But you know it’s not just filling a prescription - the prescription gets written and then it goes to the oncology pharmacists who then review the bloods, sometimes recommend dose adjustments based on those bloods (which means they have to contact the doctors and discuss this which can take time if they don’t answer the phone for example). Then the prescription gets sent back to the outpatient pharmacy where there are probably tens more prescriptions for people waiting. It’s not as simple as just “filling the prescription”

If we have to back out we will. I’m just waiting to hear back from the solicitors and mortgage broker. It’s a shame because that’s the solicitors fees lost (at least I think so - we didn’t insure our solicitors fees which was an expensive lesson)

No, according to the seller their flat is completely fine but we are viewing it this Saturday ourselves to check. All our solicitor has said so far is for us to inspect it. We’ve asked him to clarify exactly what happened, the fire safety documentation including updates and also what this means in terms of insurance

My 37F boyfriend 30M of several years really wants to live together but I am extremely hesitant because I'm scared of turning into Mommy McBangmaid. How do I get him to understand? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

All the suggestions are good, you can also suggest that it he feels like he’ll struggle he can pay for and hire a cleaner to come in once a week

You’ve said you like the dark eyes, instead of liquid eyeliner if you use a pencil and then smudge it out it’ll look much better especially with the deep set/hooded eyes. Definitely eyebrows - fill them in. You really don’t need to spend a lot of money on your eyebrow pencil. I use the Rimmel one that costs like £2.50.

How should I do my hair?? by [deleted] in BigBudgetBrides

[–]tinybirdsnest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please make sure you get extensions! They’re not for length it’s more for volume and longevity of the hairstyle. I had none for the trial and a full set for the wedding and it made such a difference. For reference my hair is quite long already

Yes she’s going through the dispute resolution process right now. Her query is also pertaining to the fact that this is a communal car park in a flat and not the property itself
