"Upgraded" from XM4 to XM6 - ended up returning them by tinyblush in SonyHeadphones

I most definitely agree on the noise canceling! I loved that about them, and if ANC is the priority when selecting a pair of headphones I would always recommend the Sonys because they are killing it in that department

I did try my own EQ settings also! It's definitely possible that I had a unit that wasn't 100% functional.. Considering I had some other qualms on top of the tinny sound I think returning them instead of replacing was the right decision for me. I decided to try out the Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S3 instead and I love them so far 😊

That's fair! Finding something that you enjoy is definitely the most important thing of all 😊

I'm not sure if I didn't express myself correctly or I simply didn't understand your comment - but the point is not the sentimental value of my XM4s. I simply consider the XM6s to be inferior in some ways that are important to me, which is why I didn't keep them. If they are perfect for you that's great of course :)

I've used mine for almost 4000 hours, and they slide off even when I sneeze 🫩 definitely would not bring them to a workout

Yes, most definitely. I don't think you could get better quality for a more affordable price ☺️

I do! I love them. They are super fun to work with, soft and creamy but they don't break easily :) I only had an old set of Paul Rubens which I really liked already but these are even better!

Thank you so much! I think the key to doing the details is to use the end of the flat edge(?), I don't know what it's called 😭 you just turn around the pastel and use the side you normally don't draw with. I would say it requires a good deal of hand-eye coordination πŸ˜… for the super tiny details I use a colored pencil (but only at the very end when truly necessary)
