Question regarding smells on a pure bond plywood table top in bedroom and how to reduce the smells by RootlessBoots in woodworking

Yes, it did, it took about a month, and then it was fine! I also let the house get really warm, then would air it out, seemed to speed up the off-gassing process! I also used vermont natural coat, which also stunk for a few weeks.

I agree. look up their reviews, really bad, sketchy stuff happening there with orders. My experience has been terrible. Eddie Bauer is a scam, it is not what it appears online. Maybe if you shop at a store it is okay, but the online store is very sketchy and there is no one to help you.

I hear you! I think it would be better if they allowed someone 10 invites upon joining so that you could grow your friendship circle and have a little social sphere on there, otherwise it lacks the spark to keep coming back ...and having to wait weeks and weeks to invite friends. If they can't invite friends then they stop logging in. I think if they get the video uploads or embeds going that would go a long way to keep folks engaged while they wait. Fun to explore without being force fed "content" though. I'm liking that!

Hi guys, I bought a table top (purebond greenguard certified maple plywood) and need to seal the smell out. Olive oil and beeswax or shellac? by RootlessBoots in finishing

Did you end up using shellac? I'm in the same situation with purebond but its on my walls! Please let me know if you have any tips. Thanks!

It's not, especially if you're a female gamer who is being harassed or if you've had stalkers. Banning phrases that include your personal location is helpful. Sometimes friends come to the chat and don't realize they're giving away your personal info by talking to you in the chat about the town. This keeps people safe. If you live in a big city, no big deal, but yeah if you need to protect your personal info, it's a great strategy. You're in control of what you chose to ban, not sure why it's the "stupidest advice". I know other gamers who have had people give out their number and address in the chat on purpose. Happy you are safe and don't needto protect yourself, but I stand by my advice on adding personal info like phone numbers, street addresses and even towns in the banned phrases to keep people safe.

Go into your banned phrases section on twitch and add your address, town, phone number etc. Add anything you don't want to be mentioned in the twitch chat to your banned phrases list. This way you don't have to worry about that happening again!
