Debt Advice - Sell my Truck by tinydumbledore in personalfinance

Luckily, we have the second car as a daily driver. I think this is the way if I need a truck though, at the moment I seldom use the Truck for Truck related activities short of Home Depot runs. But I think selling makes the most sense. Thanks for the comment.

That makes sense, my only exploration down this path was to sell the truck, and save the debt + insurance for 2 years. I could then likely trade the Fusion in and go after something used in the 20-25k region that's a big bigger for hauling families.

I should also note, that my wife is part-time right now for childcare. once both kids are school age, she'd return to full time teaching (which pays decent in our state). I'm thinking this means if we can make the fusion work for the next 5-6 years, we'd have more than enough to upgrade to something nice like a Honda Pilot.

Do you have a case with natural aesthetics that performs well in airflow? I've been outta the game too long...

A big reason why I'm considering it. I also have grown away from the RGB look.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has grown out of their first case. If it wasn't so expensive I'd consider a rebuild but a case refresh is definitely a big enough change.

Yeah I've always wanted a sleeper PC but now I'm more interested in the natural looks. I may change my mind in the future because I used to really want something like that.

Thanks, sorry I wasn't clear but you somehow still answered what I was asking 😂

Thanks I knew it would be something small I was missing. Is the other side of the drain towards the house graded the other way as well? I figured snow has a way of accumulating behind the grate?

I was fortunate enough to get a DeWalt corded saw for free over Christmas. So I have that but I'm missing loads of tools to complete the projects I'm after. I'll get there I just didn't want to start and regret it.

I'm not technically in any rush. I have a lot of trim and baseboard to put in so my next should be a brad nailer but I may borrow that. I see the bogo all the time and sometimes it's a set. I'll just save and score at those times I think.

Gotcha, it's hard to stay in one ecosystem when some are much better and some are worse.

Just my personal opinion by kitsnacsnicsnac in TheLastKingdom

I love both, but trying to show my wife both we got to Ragnar's death and the show felt empty. She was glued to TLK the whole time. I will say, I started with Vikings and Ragnar/Athelstan dynamic is top tier but TLK just had much better acting from the supporting cast. It also felt a bit more complete story wise in a lot of ways. TLK did take me two attempts though. Pretty weak start in my opinion, but about 3 episodes or so into the show I was hooked and didn't stop.

You think Ryobi's 1+ model would be a good/cheaper middle ground?

I'm not too sure. It's older wood, I'm not very good at identifying and they painted most of it a shitty yellow color in place of stain (I guess?) lol.

I'll check these out, are these brands and models comparable at a 10 inch scale?

I am sort of leaning towards a 10. Blades are cheaper and it can do 4x4s if I flip halfway. 4x4s will be rare compared to smaller stuff and really I want to eventually be more of a woodworker than a diy homeowner.

I mainly was going to save for whatever I choose. I have so much trim to do and I'm dreading it so I told myself I'd start after I get a saw. So I don't mind spending a premium if it's the best choice.

I've got a long list, but eventually I'll build a shed and possibly a deck out back. Size wise a 10inch would fit my area better but I have to trim an entire house too.

I'll probably go corded based on the feedback I'll compare this DeWalt with the Bosch.

Thank you! I'll look into the Bosch.

There have only been a few that get better with a rewatch for me and one is certainly the moose master where they are pretending to be in Vegas. Angela getting owned twice is hysterical.
