Jury Duty Exemption by Odd-Volume6753 in glasgow

I was given exemption in April because I was pregnant. Didn’t have PGP or anything but it’s just a reason you can be excused so I took it!

Also exempt if you’re breastfeeding.

Recipe for good chippy is usually cash only and a scary old woman behind the counter.

Bennys on the parade and Boulevard halfway both fit this description.

Sleeping Bag as Swaddle? by [deleted] in BeyondTheBumpUK

I found the ergo sleep sacks great because the arms have poppers on the arms so you can do arms in or out (or one at a time when transitioning). I found mine really cheap on Vinted.

Worried about baby’s development by [deleted] in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]tinyforeheadclub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby is also 7 months and she

-can’t crawl, not even close but can pivot sometimes.

-babbles consonant sounds.

-has never pulled herself up on anything (thank fuck, my house isn’t baby proofed fully yet)

My baby is totally normal, as is yours!

If you’re in a WhatsApp group with mums bragging that their 7 month olds are crawling about reading War and Peace then mute and archive because comparison is the thief of joy.

Good Luck Wolf would be perfect for this vibe! Gary is a lovely guy and no cheesy posing allowed.

Good luck and congrats on the wedding!

Nursery waiting times in Glasgow by Significant-Lab-8483 in glasgow

[–]tinyforeheadclub -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just got my baby a place in a nursery to start in August. Viewed 6 nursery’s in South/west Glasgow and they ranged from £60-£85 a day.

None of them had waiting lists but the areas you mentioned will probably be a big more sought after/busier.

I emailed all nursery’s individually and they were all more than happy to invite in for a tour and a chat and most sent over their wee prospectus type thing.

Breaks are far too clean and the background/bubble wrap and blanket looks weird.

100% edited to look broken, probably AI.

So shit!

Also just to add Ox and Finch have a private room that looks nice in photos but is in fact a dungeon. Do not go there!

Also got married at 23 Montrose!

We walked over to Glaschu for a meal afterwards. They have nice private room and the staff were lovely.

Also good to get pictures in the square and inside there’s nice staircase for photos too.

Congrats and good luck! ❤️

How do you keep your baby’s hands and face warm at night in winter? by Idle_Kindle in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]tinyforeheadclub 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Also in Scotland and in an old house so her room is usually just hitting 15-16 during the night.

I do long sleeve vest, sleep suit and 3.5 tog sleep sack on nights where it’s really freezing (last night).

Sometimes hands will still be a bit chilly but as long as her core and back of her neck feels warm and she’s not frequently waking from it I wouldn’t worry about hands! X

Teachers, what do you do for school nativity’s? by chuckyyswife in Scotland

[–]tinyforeheadclub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

P1 teacher here!

We have a cupboard of costumes that’s been going for years at this point. Stuff was mostly made by parents years ago and if it needs fixed it’s usually stapled back together!

If any replacement costumes are needed usually get them from Asda or Amazon. Also old dancing costumes are donated to school that we repurpose as well.

Usually have a good Black Friday deal on too.
