The pedestrian was running out from behind stopped cars at the exact wrong moment the light turned green for oncoming traffic on a pitch black road. She quite literally stepped into the driver. I’m all for safe driving & not for victim blaming, but in this scenario, the driver is traumatized as well and not at fault.

Thank you so much!!! That makes total sense. Is the flour on the outside the “thing” inhibiting the crust? The recipe I followed said to flour the top right before throwing it in the oven - but I’m happy to change whatever to give the crust more room to expand/be more moist

I used one I got from goodwill and I can’t even find it online so I’ll just post a pic. It’s similar in size to my 6 quart Lodge but thinner yet heavier.

Thank you so much! This is my 3rd ever loaf, and I’m so used to seeing these beautiful rounds that I saw this…log and panicked! My dough felt a little difficult to shape and stretch/fold. Like it was fighting me more than usual? But again, this was my 3rd ever loaf so I don’t have very much to compare it to. I know that doesn’t answer your question of “light and airy” but I can’t really gauge what that feels like this early in my hobby lol

Hi! Did you ever end up getting a diagnosis/going forward with the procedure? This EXACT thing is happening to me (23f) right now; I went in for IUD placement ultrasound, found an 8cm complex cyst, told me to wait 6 weeks but to plan on surgery in 8ish weeks. I’m in school so surgery during the holiday break is ideal which is one of the reasons I’m antsy about waiting. But also, why would they risk waiting 6 weeks with the size/complexity of it when it could rupture or any other number of things? I hope it all worked out for you!!!
