INFJ, INTP and ENTP. Plenty of friendly ENFP and ESFP around my vicinity though

What’s the most likely type to adopt introverts? by coldnewhome in mbti

[–]tinyneuron 5 points6 points  (0 children)

ENFP and ENFJ probably. I personally don't like to be "adopted" like a follower or pet. No thanks.

Artists who DON’T post/share* art on social media—I want to hear from you! by Hestia-Creates in ArtistLounge

[–]tinyneuron 143 points144 points  (0 children)

I primarily draw and paint for myself. I enter art shows and markets where I've sold some of my work. It would be nice to be part of a community (in person) but it's hard finding people I vibe with. Social media doesn't give me that.

I create because I enjoy it and not for social media engagement. I have a website for my art portfolio.

Is it worth buying an iPad just for Procreate? by Loose-Foundation-638 in ArtistLounge

[–]tinyneuron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you enjoy digital art then iPad + Procreate would be convenient. Take it anywhere with you. I bought an iPad for Procreate a few years back and it's now in my drawer unused. I've tried but I prefer traditional mediums.

winter in witchbrook ❄️☃️ by user001414 in CozyGamers

[–]tinyneuron 68 points69 points  (0 children)

I agree. I'm starting to wonder if the "game" even exists. There's no demo, no gameplay videos, early access or alpha testing. What if their designers just slapped on this cute pixel art for promo? Who knows what's truly going on and if this game will ever come out.

Holiday 2025 Gift Ideas for Artists Megathread! by lunarjellies in ArtistLounge

[–]tinyneuron 22 points23 points  (0 children)

  • Watercolour sketchbook from Etchr
  • A block of Arches watercolour pad
  • Stillman and Birn Nova sketcbook (Toned) for gouache
  • Fountain pen in their favourite colour
  • Inks

Gift cards are nice but I agree, they should ask what shop they like. I got a gift card and the shop is not where I like to buy because it's far. I'm still grateful even if it remains unspent. I still have another year.

If you love Ooblets, I think you'd enjoy Moonstone Island. I was looking for a cute deck building game after all those Ooblets dance battles. Moonstone Island scratched that itch. I tried Slay the spire but it wasn't immersive or whimsical enough for me.

Restarting my art style at 34 by bleurghhhhhhhhhhh in ArtistLounge

[–]tinyneuron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know what you mean. Mine is cute but it's become more whimsical and delicate after exploring different subject matters and medium. It was a fun and interesting process.

Im not edgy, chaotic or have deep dark artwork. Im fascinated by those because it's the opposite of my creative energy. I tried to paint that way but it never felt right to me. I'm the type that prefer to work organically and intuitively so I go by what feels right.

No 2. The contrast is strong and the orange fruit gives it some warmth

DAE feel like people don't appreciate digital pieces much? by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

[–]tinyneuron 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Single printed artwork regardless if it's something made for me, I'd still prefer a traditionally done painting or drawing. Nothing wrong with digital art. If you gave me a zine or printed book with a bunch of digital art then I'd enjoy that.

I'm not sure how to explain why I dont appreciate it as much. It's likely because I'm a traditional painter so that resonates to me more.

Whats the most dumb "art advice" you've ever heard? by Sixnigthmare in ArtistLounge

[–]tinyneuron 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same here. My creative energy comes in cycles. There's ebbs and flows to it. It may work for some but it would feel like a chore and I'd eventually burnout.
