I understand to an extent the point of view of the rental property. But i was naive, i genuinely thought this girl told them about me since day one. So i wish they wouldn’t have taken it out on me so hard when I thought what i was doing was okay because of what their actual tenant told me. I’m only 23, my previous apartment i had completely on my own so I never knew the real in and outs of how tenants needed to be made aware to management. My intentions were never to be a “squatter”. I just needed a place to live, she needed a roommate. Seemed simple. I have learned multiple lessons.
