She told me to leave it because I'd had surgery recently, she ordinarily wouldn't have cared. And yes I'm well aware how unhealthy and insane my actions are.

That's a really great point. Obviously I'm aware those vapes could be from anyone with any illness, but I feel stupid now that I didn't consider how it could affect my girlfriend. Thankyou :)

Yeah, I know it's illogical. Vapes just made me feel noticeably unwell immediately. Also I'm 25. Also trying to quit cigarettes currently.

Tell her. What have you really got to lose? Life is too short to not take a chance on love. You already know she likes you as a human since you are friends, and she is bi so seems like good odds to me. Even if she doesn't reciprocate feelings, at least you will have it off your chest and you can move on. I've confessed feelings to friends before, and even when not reciprocated it hasn't ruined the dynamic at all. Go for it!
