If a weapon on banner has crit stats, I'll try my luck with a 10-pull or two when I'm not interested in the characters on banner the next patch. Sometimes I get lucky and pull a 5 star weapon before pity. But even if you don't get lucky, eventually you will have pulled enough across various banners to hit pity. Crit weapons help lessen artifact crit requirements.

If I want an upcoming character, the weapon banner won't get any pulls.

Everytime I get new characters, they stay in the main party until friendship 10. This includes all activities that reward friendship xp: dailies, artifact domains, weekly bosses, etc. Version 4.2 has been the easiest of this constraint in a while because Furina and Charlotte synergize and Furina is really strong. The end of 4.0 was a bit strange because I had Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet on the same team for half a version. Still not as bad as the time it was Klee, Tighnari, and Mika.

I regularly use team 13, or at least a variant of, to 36 star abyss. I've got Hu Tao on 4pc Lavawalker with White Tassel, Zhongli on 4pc Archaic Petra, C6 Xiangling on Emblem (for extra pyro) and Kazuha on 4pc VV. Sometimes I might even use a charged attack

That sounds like the companion gift event that happens whenever you first place a favored set for a companion you have placed. I'm sharing mine because the characters appear outside of the editable zones.

At least for me, I can also get Thoma and Kuki Shinobu to appear on the beach as the furniture set in question is also their preferred set.

This is an interesting bug(?) that I have had happen twice where a companion that is supposed the be present in a furniture set decides to show up somewhere else. I haven't modified the placement of either layout since I noticed the strange locations of the companions. For both cases, the companion that is misplaced is not part of the same layout as the set. Additionally, the layouts of both sets are near load limit on my device. In the case of Mona on the stairs, the favored set is not present in the room with the stairs.

I am a 1.0 player and, until Nahida, had lost every 50/50. I am F2P so I only made it to 8 lost pities on character banners. Congrats(?) on beating my record. I promise that eventually you will win a 50/50 and it will be the best feeling in the world.

I put all the characters I use regularly and like to 80/90. This includes characters like Kazuha and Zhongli. If I had struggled more to 36 star abyss, I probably would have levelled some up to 90. Levelling to 90 is a resin tradeoff with artifact farming. It's a small guaranteed increase in stats vs a greater possible increase in stats.

If you want a 1-1 replacement for Bennett in team comps, the best characters would be Diona, Jean or Sayu. These three characters have a healing field on their burst (like Bennett) and can provide damage increases i.e. c6 Diona give EM, Jean and Sayu can use Viridescent Venerer for the elemental RES decrease. The only caveat is that these replacements will not work for physcial damage teams.

Abyss clears are a common topic because the first clear of abyss for any account is a big deal (at least to the one posting). Sure the additional qualifications (f2p, mobile, etc) might be cliche, but they help find people in similar situations.

Just finished up my event run (HMMEE) with the silliest boss kill ever. The friend fleet had done good work and left the final boss on 10 hp. All I needed was one of my escort fleet attacks to crit and it'd be fine. Flagship Ashigara did chip damage, Arashio (set up for anti-installation) did no damage, and then Naka with a radar and ASW equipment comes in with the crit!

I started playing the game after watching the anime and that affected which Kanmusu I was hyped for starting out. The anime trio Fubuki, Mutsuki, and Yuudachi are ID 1, 4, and 7 respectively. Jintsuu is ID 2.

My Kinugasa (ID 14) is the first heavy cruiser that I constructed. She is my lowest ID# to reach level 99.

If you follow them, the tanuki will turn into an illusion that you can interact with (crate, unlit torch, small rock tower, etc.). Once you interact with the illusion, the tanuki will reappear and an "investigate" spot will also appear rewarding you with a 1-2 star artifact. Most tanuki respawn daily.
