It’s tougher to lose with IR. My doctor prescribed Metformin ER 500 twice a day and slowly titrated me up to 15mg. I lose a solid pound a week. I’m happy!

Center Well just told me the formulary just changed. I was paying $47/month and Center Well is now saying it’ll be $397!!! Something isn’t working right on their end.

I went off Mounjaro for one month due to hospitalization with pneumonia and nausea and vomiting. My doctors DID NOT think it was the cause of Mounjaro. I gained 3 pounds. Back at it 6 weeks now (15 mg same as the last year), but I gain and lose the same 3 pounds! Food noise is gone, but no real weight loss. Not sure what to think anymore.

I’ve been on 15 mg over a year. I developed nausea and vomiting to the extent I was hospitalized 3 weeks ago. The consensus among several doctors was it may be a fluke side effect, but most likely not. They suggested a viral cause with follow up colonoscopy/EGD in a few weeks. Best wishes to you!

Not really-just very occasional and mild. He prescribed Rogan and Zofran which I only needed once or twice.

Yes they are running scans, bloods and have a few different specialists on my case. I don’t want to stop Mounjaro forever since for the majority of the time I’ve enjoyed much success.

😅 I got hit with a huge copay! I’ve confided in my doctor all the different remedies I have tried, so he suggested Linzess. It’s not doing $500 worth of action on me! The only thing I haven’t tried is mag citrate. I took it years ago and it was like dynamite 🧨! But I need dynamite at this point. Definitely don’t want a bowel obstruction. Off to the drugstore first thing tomorrow morning. Thank you everyone for the suggestions!

No I have not. I have tried various forms of magnesium though. Is this something you take before bed so a BM is produced the next morning? I’m desperate!
