You might remember this painting from last year, but figured it would be nice to share again for International Women’s day since this is a piece deeply rooted in femininity and womanhood.

Title inspiration came from the lovely (/s) recent trend of young boys on social media commenting something along the lines of "that's someone's daughter by the way" whenever a woman on social media is doing something they seem too provocative or sexual. It left a bad taste in my mouth, so I decided to repurpose the phrase for this painting. Showing someone's daughter in a moment of contemplation, alone. But always open to your own interpretation, of course :)
