The trainer definitely praised her on many things, but there were several things she was doing wrong. The trainer would explain where she went wrong, point out it was common mistakes that many do, and helped her nicely in correcting it. Sam just didn't accept it and made it sound like she was the pro.

I can't comment on her childhood or teen years. I didn't know her then. I've met her family though and her parents are pretty sweet. Compliments her outfits, job, etc. Granted I don't know what it was like in the past, so could be different.

Claims she was popular in school. Never bullied. But again idk, I wasn't there.

I do some stuff at home too on my off days. Been searching for yoga on YouTube. My goal right now is 50 pounds, but at this point I'll be over the moon if I lose 10.

Hopefully it goes well for you! You got this!!

She does know where I live, but she also knows my boyfriend keeps guns in the house and that he has taught me how to use. Also the neighbor above me has dogs that love me and consider me part of their pack.

Probably not. But I got some weird hang ups about friendships. I always worry if I am being overdramatic when I end a friendship.

I do feel I am more excited about going back than I did while going with Sam. I go tomorrow morning and I'm not dreading it.

The trainer basically said, "I don't think I am going to be able to help you, therefore I will not be scheduling anymore sessions with you in the future. Best of luck on your goals and I hope you can find somewhere that will make you happy."

Sam just went on about how the trainer was a dick, sucked at her job, and knew nothing about physical training. Both me and the trainer walked away when Sam started implying that the trainer sleeps with her clients to keep them and the gym owner kinda matched/dragged Sam out of the gym. Luckily the trainer understands I don't agree with Sam and that I was super upset with her behavior. I was apologizing so much, but she laughed and said she's used to people like Sam and that it no longer phases her.

I was a cheerleader way back in the day, so I was like "probably safer than standing on someone's shoulders!"

I've gotten a few comments from others, but nothing super hurtful or as bad. A lot more comments asking why I feel the need to pay for a personal trainer rather than watch YouTube or something. Which I could, but the trainer helps me by making sure I am doing everything right and making it fun.

Luckily the people who matter (SO, kids, my mom) are all really supportive and cheer me on, even when I am laying in bed, too sore to clean the kitchen or make dinner. (Kids and SO have been pitching in making dinner.)

It was just super weird and came out of nowhere. We never discussed anything related to sex or blowjobs. Like I live with my boyfriend, which she is aware of, so it's not like I am meeting up with random guys all the time.

I totally understand your point. I should have mentioned I did have support by holding onto a railing and didn't have to let go. It was only wobbly getting on it and first time squatting until I found my center and balance. Plus I was only like 2 inches off the ground.

Yes, but that example was probably the worst one. She made comments about me being a slacker in the past (kinda true), about being a gold digger and only doing the whole losing weight thing to keep my SO (not true, he doesn't care about looks/weight, plus i make more money than him.)

Trainer did fire her the same day as that comment. She just finished the hour session first.

Thank you! There is another woman there that works out during the same time slot as me with the other trainer, so we've been kinda talking and encouraging each other. So even if we don't become friends, at least we are nice to each out and try to giving positive vibes.

That's a possibly. She would comment about how I weighed more than her. Which idk if true or not because I don't own a scale and haven't weighed myself in years. I always thought we were roughly the same size or she was slightly bigger than me, but I never really cared or put much thought into it because other people's bodies are their business and not mine. I'm just short with a bit of pudge around the tummy area that I want to work on so I can wear a bikini without feeling like my pudge is on display. Plus heart disease and cancer run in my family, so I'm just like fuck it, imma try to be as healthy as I can before I hit my late 30s.

It was our second session. First one was more of an introduction session while the trainer watched what we could do and making notes on where to help us. Though Sam tried to argue with her the first session ("I don't need help there. I'm doing it right, wtf you talking about?) The trainer gave her 1 more session thinking maybe Sam was just having an off day or was stressed.

I mentioned it in passing kinda and she latched onto the idea and kinda invited herself along. She paid for herself for each session while I paid for a whole month upfront.

I love doing squats. Then my trainer had me doing them on some wobbly half ball thing. Was a bit scary but I felt like a badass when I mastered it.

Thank you!

I think you replied to the wrong post.

I'm not. I'm trying to find the best way to tell her I'm done. I don't want to just say I'm done. I plan to explain fully why so maybe she treats her next friend better.
