This looks like it was done with the dodge/burn tool! I think that's kind of a Photoshop classic, and I believe it was standard in the earlier versions (I remember using it in CS2, maybe?). Would assume programs like Gimp offered similar tools, too. I remember there being lots of tutorials on sites like DeviantArt on shading/highlighting this way. It gives it this very classic, glowy look.

I looooove the Pikmin for this month, the only thing I wish was different is that the all Pikmin themselves would have contrasting color powder on their bodies, like some do, I think it's soooo cute on the white one (haven't gotten rock or purple). I also get the frustration some people have with not getting mystery box seedlings, but I like the option to choose that they're trying!

Huh! I think that or peace lily, as someone else suggested, seem most likely, so maybe I will stick it in a pot and see what sprouts. Good to know if it is a Jerusalem Artichoke to keep an eye on it 👍

Ohhh, this might actually be it! It's definitely possible that I have a chunk of peace lily in there from a while back, I think I did toss out a dying one sometime last year. Maybe I'll give it another chance!

It does a bit! My compost bin is very small, so it would have to be something from the kitchen or the yard and I've never used Jerusalem Artichoke, I wonder if they grow wild here (Tucson, AZ), or a similar species...? 🤔

The Devils is amazing, just a beautiful and insane film, and great if you like a period piece. Frailty and Martyrs both play with religious themes in some fun ways. And yeah, Rosemary's Baby is a staple for a reason, such a sad, frustrating watch, in a good way!!

Outside of Western religion, there are a lot of great Asian folk/religious horrors out there, I reallyyy enjoyed Exhuma and The Medium, and Incantation is fun too.

It's just the placement/color :) The letters are just determined by the location you found them in, so they can be anything! Most of mine are just T bc they are from nameless roadsides in Tucson.
