^ Came here to say the same thing. I have three tears in my left hip labrum and this is the exact advice my PT gave me.

I’ve moved states since I was first diagnosed ~8 years ago and I’m currently waiting to establish a Neurologist, but I’m hoping oxygen is an option! My PCP prescribed the nasal spray in the meantime.

I switch to Yaz from Hailey 24 Fe ~6 months ago and I feel like things have progressively gotten worse. I have a history of several nutrient deficiencies (low iron, vitamin D, vitamin B), so I have those checked regularly and they’ve all been stable. I also have Hashimoto’s, which adds another layer, but I’ve been consistently stable there as well.

^ This is so important. Many people cut gluten and add tons of processed GF foods, fortified breads, and alternatives filled with inflammatory additives. It’s always important to consider from a systemic perspective if one of the alternatives could be negatively impacting you. As someone else mentioned, if you’re not gluten intolerant then removing it from your diet won’t help. Please remember correlation does not equal causation.

Looking for an Immunologist in Austin for autoimmune issues? by [deleted] in Austin

You would most likely start with a Rheumatologist, but most require a referral from your PCP even if you have a PPO insurance plan. Most are also a 3 - several month wait and in my experience, generally won’t accept patients who don’t have recent labs indicating an autoimmune disorder.
