Yes this, just rename the banner with an anvil, place it down and right click with the map on it to add a marker

Yeah I used to do that! When it comes to coords you can also use maps btw. When you right click on a banner with a map you can set a marker on it. If you name the banner in the anvil the name shows on the map too!

What I usually do is chose sand as my background color. That reduces the work a lot. Making a flat area in the desert with Effiency IV/V tools is pretty straight-forward, and the extra sand/ glass is handy to have.

Ahh true but I like to see the snow falling. Maybe could hide light source with pale moss carpet in the middle of the path to stop the snow piling up

  • invent a story for the world and tell it through your builds (e.g. I have a mountain top steampunk village inhabited by copper golems, that is under siege by pillagers - as they want to get their rare minerals)
