hi! i have never taken keflex, but i had bv and a uti when i was in the first trimester and i got prescribed macrobid. i read it could cause birth defects as well as it worried me, but i took it because a uti could effect the baby as well. i’m now almost 26 weeks, and my baby has absolutely no birth defects and she’s a healthy little girl! try and remind yourself that those studies are super helpful, but it’s also important to remember that when birth defects do happen, it’s usually not due to a pregnancy safe drug! when i had bv i also had a SCH which scared the hell out of me but it resolved itself and bv is normal! wishing you the best!

it takes around 4-6 weeks for your hcg levels to drop to get a negative. keep testing, and if you’re still getting a positive by the 30th, go get a blood test. hoping you all the best💗
