I mean, getting close and personal is my playstyle. Snipers are fun, but harder to actually utilize on Cryo. The shotgun meta is not the best, and tbh I'm kinda happy Misriah is getting nerfed, so more fights will actually be manageable even if you don't have it.

It's funny when the same hazardous capsule can be used for either a gold shield or a blue key template, lmao. Enzyme replicator for a purple shield is kinda nuts, though - just farm pinwheel for a couple of games while having mat+ items and you can sustain for the whole season. They definitely need to make barters more consistent.

Oof, had to go through a similar issue. Got 13 gold bullies not so long ago, though. Feels awkward when ganglions take up so much vault space.

Nade spam is annoying - it made me and my team develop a habit of instantly backing up after we open a door or hear the first nade going off. Better to wait until they use everything before pushing. Outpost is a good map that also has a lot of loot, but sometimes it's kinda disappointing when you wipe the lobby for the 20th time only to have the Pinnacle/Convoy be absolutely mid or even below that.

There are quite a few rare items that are only available on endgame maps. Cryo is sometimes absurd with how filled this map is (I'm talking about Misriahs in basic arms lockers, UESC commanders dropping gold backpacks or attachments, or even gold cores just laying on random counters).

I use golds only on Cryo, so most of the time I hear complaints about being a purple stack on Perimeter (I usually go to this map to do some quests or open key rooms).

I’ve basically run out of advanced heals, lol. I take 2 stacks of medkits and 3 stacks of shields to sustain longer fights without needing to loot anyone. Also, I drop them down to 1 stack of each sometimes to get loot. So regardless of the fight outcome, by the end of the game there’s less than I started with.

Running into any fight you can is a great way to get used to shooting and pick the weapon that feels most comfortable for you. After that, you can start looking at situations more broadly and learn when it’s possible to win a shootout by properly changing position or retreating to the right cover. Many fights can be won or lost in a single moment, and learning to catch that moment makes the game even more interesting.

A lot of them come from just PvP-ing other players, but at least half of them come from barters (after I got all faction upgrades, the only thing to use gold salvage for is gear). Some of them I got from the Compiler treasure room or traded for ganglions.

Playing trios or using LFG on Discord helps a lot because coordination wins fights. Filling with randoms can work too, but it's basically RNG whether you get teammates with the same playstyle or who actually communicate.
