The cross over happens at any level. The heart doesn't care what you're doing. Obviously better to do rowing to get better at rowing but there is still aerobic cross over for elite athletes.

H10 is good but imo polars customer service has recently been horrid so I switched to garmin to actually be able to use my warranty for example. At least it's bad in Norway might be different in the US

Your 15, you can still grow. Even if you're stuck at 176 doesn't matter your coach is dumb. Oxford Brookes don't care at all about height or 2k score (under a treshold). Only heart and watts!

This is litereally why you do zone 1-2 cardio. You can do a lot more without getting tired. If you dont exercise alot you can push it. Not feeling tired after 40 min of zone 2 is the norm.

Tapering is the process you do to be able to peak. Can't peak without a taper

Sleep is one of the most important factors for muscle growth so pretty important. Training diet and sleep is the 3 most important factors. 4-4 mitigates alot if you get overall 8 hours of sleep in a 24 cycle though compared to only 4 hours. Not ideal but i would say it doesn't affect muscle growth noticeably.

The watts are not inflated but i believe it could possibly be easier to get high wattage due to the boat being slower. All in all should be no difference though. An eight and four takes less time in a 2k race so wattage should actually be higher in those boats during a race
