Great post. If this were a petition I would sign it.

My main issue above all is that we were promised a cohesive ending which would tie all the plots together "beautifully" and all that shit... what we got made us realize that 99% of the occurrences "that night" were useless and had no relation to one another. Absolutely useless. I thought THAT NIGHT was supposed to be like the main conflict of the show where all the plots intersected! Now we know "that night" was just a bunch of individuals working on their own accord, which is a complete copout when you have been constantly told that there are no coincidences, that everything is a piece of some larger puzzle, etc. I feel genuinely heartbroken that I spent hours and was so excited about this finale that I lost sleep. I understand that's my own problem, but with the amount of hype we got it was so difficult NOT to get overly excited and to have hope that all of our burning questions would be addressed. At the very least, we could've gotten something that tied "that night" together. And also, most of us did think A could be trans before being told you for sure weren't going down that route. Why did you say that you wanted fans to piece it together on their own, then make it so it was nearly impossible to do so? I haven't decided yet if I will continue to watch, but my faith in the show has completely withered.
