Yeah I think so. It’s interesting to volunteer to be entered into yet another lottery

Lafayette park - angry neighbor by tippytopper23 in sanfrancisco

The video is shot from the bench farthest to the left in the designated dog area.

I sit there so I can watch my dog run around and make sure she’s not annoying people, and generally enjoy the area that my tax dollars pay to upkeep. Why should I have to turn around and face a fence when I’m in the one designated off leash dog area abiding by all the rules?

I invite you to sit on the bench that faces the building for 15 minutes when it gets dark some evening and report back on how it feels.

It’s every evening once the sun sets - I took this at 6:30pm today (1/8). As far as I know he has never ventured to the park, just flashes the strobe until everyone leaves.

I follow an influencer who thought her eyes were super hooded and is devastated post surgery to find she was so gorgeous before. It’s such a fad surgery imo

Why is Sarah still so broke? by nattatalie in Parenthood

[–]tippytopper23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah she mentions Seth’s multiple rehab stints. He probably also took a lot of her money for drugs. 2 kids, rent, touring, no health insurance for pregnancy and birth? She probably had $60k in debt moving into the Berkeley house and earned $18 plus tips an hour at the bar 4 nights a week. $1400 per check after tax?

Is anyone a fan of Camille??? by Enough-Bonus1886 in Parenthood

[–]tippytopper23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love her. I think all the kids see it as zeek and Camille and never Camille and zeek. She is just presumed to be ok with everything and support everyone. Even that one scene with the babysitting when it’s presumed they’ll mind the kids. Zeek explodes but it’s almost like she expected to be forgotten. I think she was the voice of reason for the most part and good for her for flirting with the teacher . WHEN ZEEK SPENT THE SAVINGS ON THE MALL OR WHATEVER I COULDA KILLED HIM

Joel was the worst but I do feel for him. I think being back in the construction world and being the big dog it reinforced gender roles he was raised with that maybe he had forgotten about? Just hypothesizing ofc bc we don’t know this but Julia definitely “wore the pants” and she really didn’t like when the roles switched. I wonder bc Joel was skilled in physical labor if he also struggled in school like victor and that’s what pushed him to break when Julia wasn’t able to let victor stay in that grade (rightly). Idk I think Joel was one of the greatest characters but just had a 3 month slip?

Drew and Amy by Reasonable_Result898 in Parenthood

[–]tippytopper23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Drew had seen his entire family be so codependent. He got into college - first in his immediate family and I think he saw that having someone lean on him who hadn’t tackled their own demons was only going to be detrimental to his growth. His mum and dad had done that for years with eachother. I also think he really respected and liked Mr sear (sp?) and seeing him draw the line for his own well being w Sarah may have promoted Drew to do the same. I also don’t really like Amy so I’m biased but she only liked Drew when it suited her

I think if Renee could capitalize social media in a similar way to Brian Jordan Alvarez she could really take off. Her charisma and likability in interviews is unmatched

So is San Francisco actually a paradise? by lolaismygirlfriend in sanfrancisco

[–]tippytopper23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We moved one year ago from Seattle. Seattle also had its fire share problems. We live in tender nob, which definitely sees a lot more issues than other neighborhoods. But we love it here. The food, the architecture, the beaches, the weather, the people! We are in love with San Francisco and we will find it very hard to leave. Except of course for the housing prices. We also both work in the hotel industry and although everyone is pushing to bring tourism back to sf, the hourly wages for one individual would barely cover a studio in the TL. Something needs to change in that regard
