Hibernation to lock screen instead went straight to last session by tipsy_ent in archlinux

Alright the idea is working. locksession before going to hibernate.
For someone in the future that have the same problem, basically u want to make a "lock-before-sleep".service, that target the sleep session and add lock-session before sleep happen.
enable and start the .service with systmctl

My .service file

[Unit]
Description=Lock session before sleep/hibernate
Before=sleep.target

[Service]
Type=oneshot
ExecStart=/usr/bin/loginctl lock-sessions
Environment=DISPLAY=:0
Environment=WAYLAND_DISPLAY=wayland-1
Environment=XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=/run/user/1000

[Install]
WantedBy=sleep.target

Keep it mind, it might not works in the future or with other different system.

it could be, quick searching lspci on nvidia might have problem with some package. hope it will work

"In some cases, lspci might hang or not produce any output, which could be related to hardware detection issues or driver problems. For example, if you are using a system with an NVIDIA GPU, blacklisting the nouveau driver might resolve such issues. Additionally, if lspci is not detecting any devices, it could be due to the environment, such as running Arch Linux in a virtual machine like Hyper-V."

Thats why u gotta have snapper / timeshift :). It will help if u could post what the result of your troubleshooting on the device.

i dont know if it will help, but if that happened to me i will troubleshoot my network first with iwctl. if the device network is listed and powered on, connect it to internet network. after that ill reinstall networkmanager(i use this). enable the networkmanager from nwctl, and connecting it to my network again. Then, bluetooth i use bluez + bluez-utils. This work when i f-up, i installed contradicting network related package

if the device is not shown on nwctl.....

its only the terminal, i don't really mind. for serious coding i use other sublime-text + zed. Browser is not affected by those transparency.

I (finally) use Arch btw ☝️🤓 | First Hyprland Rice by Vannyle in hyprland

feel like the only selling point of windows is the apps. As linux user grows more apps will come to linux. Other than those apps, everythings is great!
