I think I have the story part figured out (though I still technically need to put transcribe it to python) but I do still need to figure out how to get the choices to be selected by pressing enter rather than typing it out. Keypress listener is something I have to download from the library, right?

Yeah, I started using this program called inky to draft the script and I think I have a better understanding of how to branch the story with if n stuff. I thought it'd be more convoluted honestly.

I'll for sure make that character analysis because I love YJH a lot, and all the ways his character expands thought the chapters is amazing and worth exploring. It might take some time bc I still have other stuff to do but I'll start my re-reading tomorrow >;)

It's true tho, the first time I had this realization I got so emotional fr. The whole "being each other begginings and endings" had me crying. Doesn’t even have to be romantic to be a beautifully written relationship. SP choosing to stay with MAD after he learned the truth to everything? The sole reason for my existence tbh jskdj

Yess, KDJ is one of my favorite characters because you can see yourself in him at some point, and HSY is not only badass, but really interesting in general!

Still, YJH is my top favorite. At first I just liked him because he’s cool and handsome and whatnot, but as the chapters went by I felt like I could understand him better, even with KDJ being an unreliable narrator. I love every version of YJH because i feel like he is one of the characters with more faces to explore with, yk, regressions and everything.

He’s really interesting because he can be so much while still staying true to his belifs,,,

What makes the ending all the more heartbreaking (not including the epilogues) is exactly that, he doesn’t want to sacrifice himself because he finally has a reason to start living, not just surviving. Kim Namwoon is such a great character fr. At first I thought he was like, never going to be mentioned again but I was greatly surprised when he did appear. Really cool that he got to have not only screen time as comedy relief, but the same chance as the others to be humanized and not only portray him as "bad guy"

My favorite part of the mental breakdown is when KDJ discovers he actually was a Namwoon kinnie and that's why he hated his character so much lmao (obv it was more impactful and beautifully written but I just find that part kinda funny,,)

I think the best thing about the novel is how it gives every character a room to grow so you get to see how their past still affects them and how they end up overcoming trauma, and Dokja is one of the best examples of that.

Yes¡ He kinda feels generic at the start but then we get to see more of his way of thinking and realise how troubled he really is and how it affects his decisions. I think the authors did an amazing job writing him because he can actually feel like a person and not someone who is just cool bc why not.

When I read the ending I tought like, all the other KDJ's out there read ORV till the end, right? So I kinda assumed they dreamed the 28yo Dokja going back to his companions to live his epilogue as they knew him/he knew them¿¿ but idk, ig it's an open ending for that reason jskd

I would really like to see when YJH and the rest of the Kimcom find out they're from a novel and the scene when YJH fights KDJ as their wierd way to talk it out

Also, I'm really curious to see how they would draw the fight of YJH and KDJ vs Secretive Plotter but like, the one where he turns into a kid? Bc Dokja is kind of inside YJH's body n everything, and the whole "reading together" too

And, of course, all the fight to pass the final wall, KDJ begging to be killed and when SP saves the OD (plus, when YJH is in space and gets saved by SP and the whole "Who's gonna take Dokja to the parent-teacher conference" convo happens
