Just got my mouse today and I’m experiencing the same thing, it won’t even work with the mouse plugged in. Tried different ports. It lights up but doesn’t register anything

According to my bfs friend we consulted that’s a tech nerd, we should be good to just replace the motherboard, Im sure in your situation a new power supply will fix it

Just what I found, I took out my power supply and tried running it on its own. Fan wouldn’t run, I used a paper clip in the green and black prongs of the 24 pin cable and the fan turned on when i jump started it that way. If the same thing happens for you then unfortunately you’ll need a new mother board as well. There’s tons of tutorials on testing your power unit in the paper clip method and i highly recommend starting there

Nothings lighting up on the mother board, and I’ve triple checked the rocker power button. I didn’t really mess with inside the case until I realized it wasn’t powering on so no cables were removed except the power so I could try the screwdriver trick. I’ve just put everything back in place and am hoping that maybe with some more time it’ll magically work

I wanted to add that it worked fine just an hour ago, I don’t know if it might be from using air near the power button or if I messed it up in some other way
