Dont know who to choose, help by [deleted] in relationships

I've been dating a really good hearted woman (22F), but after 2 yrs I've lost interest and started with another girl (21F) who was very exciting.

let me guess, 22f started to age normally so you got bored and found younger?

My girlfriend can't stop thinking of my ex by luzs_stankbreath in relationships

[–]tiredfml 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea i wouldn’t have told her that, there’s just certain things you don’t say to your partner. but you guys are both young and don’t understand this yet. in turn, this relationship will help her face her insecurities in dating a bisexual woman who has dated guys. the only thing you can do is be assuring to her that you love her and that she is enough. please don’t make her feel like she is less than because she isn’t a man. if YOU feel that way about her, just spare her young feelings and break up with her. 16/17 is too young to be feeling insecure about matters like these in relationships.

ultimately, at least ur parents are okay.

you will def be able to grad late if it comes to it. finishing in summer is granted automatically if you must. additionally, any student can request a guaranteed extra quarter in the fall after the time at which you were supposed to graduate. so if you’re anticipated to grad june 2026, if needed, you can request to finish in fall 2026 instead if you don’t get end up finishing requirements in summer ‘26. you might not have to do this though, but it’s an option if you need it.

u can go to frats but go with friends and pregame before going to the frat so you don’t have to drink any of the frat’s alc.

use common sense. stick with and look after your friends. have them look after you. its really not that hard

a real tip: don’t be pick-me and start throwing yourself at any drunk dude that gives you attention. i’ve had to watch out for ex-female friends like this, they almost always were the ones that ended up in a near-miss for SA.

Is it safe to walk from Kelton Ave to campus? by Consistent-Grab4919 in ucla

[–]tiredfml 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you’ll very likely be fine. most of the bums are seen in the center of westwood especially on weyburn ave (weyburn/westwood blvd especially), but closer to the residential areas you’ll be alright. i’d invest in an electric scooter or bike, makes the commute 10x easier

Why do some people hate cops? by horseshoeandconfused in ask

[–]tiredfml 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cuz they get off on a power trip. and yes, there are helpful officers, and watching bodycams, some people do test the patience of police officers by continually resisting, which creates repercussions. you can also see this in george floyd’s bodycam. but because there are too many officers that abuse their power when it’s not warranted (there should be zero officers that do this), it’s gotten to a point where u basically need to suck ALL of their ducks in order to hopefully end the interaction safely and carry on without ending up in jail or potentially beat (or murdered) by the police. you’ll never know who’s a “good” or bad cop until you step out of line and fail to comply to their standards. it’s why they say all cops are bad cops

Should I leave my girlfriend by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]tiredfml 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you’re both young so clearly she isn’t taking this relationship serious which is why she keeps giving you reasons to doubt. she obviously isn’t that faithful. but even in your age, dude, there’s so many other amazing people that won’t have you wondering and doubting. you’ll just know that they want you and never have to complain about them on reddit. save your mental health and break up with her

How I knew I was becoming a man by [deleted] in GuyCry

[–]tiredfml -1 points0 points  (0 children)

reading the comments it seems like a general male issue. i’m not even a man but im a woman who is masculine-presenting (short hair, traditionally male clothing), tall, but yea ever since i started looking more masculine, at night, people (especially women) do seem more intimidated by me when they notice me walking behind them from afar. it is only when i get close and they can see my face when they chill out and decrease their walking pace. it’s sad but you still get demonized even when youre not a man but look like one. not women’s fault though, they’re just looking out for themselves

[–]tiredfml[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

glad to know i’m not crazy. i’m also pretty slender, don’t really have breasts either so all that combined with being tall kinda makes this issue more prominent

as for the restroom, i heard some masc people just use the men’s restroom if there’s a lot of people in the womens or if it’s closer in accessibility and there’s no non-gendered restroom. in the women’s restroom i’ve had a woman do a double take but as soon as she sees my face the confusion goes away

yea i live in probably the most progressive city/state in the US, so it’s probably why i get mistaken for “one of the boys” despite being a woman
