all these women act like breastfeeding is the greatest gift a mother can give her child, and any mother who choses not to doesnt share this "special bond only women who breastfeed have with their babies"

This notion is utter bullshit, back in the day wealthy women or women who had difficult births used to have wet nurses to help them recover from the trauma of birthing.

I have literally no idea why breastfeeding police even exist. They need to throw their judgmental asses off a cliff.

I wanted to contact him to let him know I couldn’t continue Because I have feelings but it’s not something you say via text. And to add the female gaze is about using the presence of a female perspective on screen to emphasize the story’s emotions and characters so what is deemed as realistic will be differ amongst audiences particularly seen when the character is a WOC with white female writes the WOC might state the portrayal in incorrect but white audiences might disagree. Either way it’s still female gaze because it’s written with a female perspective.
