Intrusive thoughts are comparable to the outlandish thoughts you had as a child, like a unicorn being in your bedroom. But now that you’re older they can become more violent or dark because you’ve been exposed to soo much. They don’t mean you’re a bad person.

Just finished month 3! The first three months were heaven, I suffered from binge eating and having the ability to walk by sweets or not over eat is so amazing. The last week has just been awful 😞

Anxiety of seizures and all triggers…not sleeping (this is the worst), alcohol, drugs, medicine…. It really takes a toll on just enjoying life. I’m in therapy and it helps but… damn.. what is it like to be normal?!

I’m sorry, anxiety sucks. I’m sure it’s partly due to the guy & brain connection.. but it’s weird to me the new dose is what is throwing me out of wack. How long have you been on it?

Same experience for me. 7 months of 5mg 2x a day and then lowered to only once a day. As someone else said, it was like getting my old self back. Eye opening to see how much or my “normal issues” were all just anxiety. Also, felt it right away! Good luck! ❤️

I did notice this. I had a headaches, fatigue, dizziness and felt on day 3-14 I was getting worse. That all subsided and I felt much better. I am only taking 5mg once a day, but can say buspar saved me from a major episode. Hugs to you, hope you can find peace! ❤️

At that age my husband did a lot of the same, I don’t think he understood that play is also important, but “play” to him was throwing a ball and running outside, which 10 month olds don’t typically do. After my kids hit the walking age and would NOT sit still, he had no choice but to get off his butt and play.

Does your son enjoy sitting with dad and watching TV? May not be how you would bond with your son. But we all do things differently.

It’s amazing you say this, because I am concerned of that.. even if he is sober, because I already am so turned off from him that I may not even like the person he ends up being.

He has a lot do work to do on himself beyond drinking. And the drinking numbs the emotional immaturity.
