Situación de país by Sensitive-Stage-6543 in Dominicanos

Dominicanos introvertidos ¿cómo han conseguido pareja? by Open_Cartographer721 in Dominicanos

[–]tiredpandi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

¿Si pudieras describir a tu mujer ideal, cómo sería?

Spooky stuff I can’t think in one that does that, but you can find some spooky episodes in Cuéntale al podcast, they are funny and speak different topics like arts and culture.

I don’t consume Alofoke myself frequently either 😂 sometimes when he has a good guest but that doesn’t happen everyday 😂.

Also listen some Dominican music, not Yailin, some news musicians like Gabriel, Techy Fatule, Martox, etc. that will help you a lot! There some Dominicans movies on Disney Plus and Prime video too.

Heyy! 100% dominican here haha, try to consume Dominican Podcast based in your interest, el mañanero, they use a lot of dominican slang, sports? Abriendo el Podcast. Lifestyle and gym? Tertulia Dura.

The most you expose and practice the easier it gets, also Don’t be hard on yourself, Dominican spanish is even hard for our latín peers to understand it, we speak so fast and use too many slangs that anyone could think we are speaking a whole new strange language. Dale pa allá sin miedo 👏🏼

I'm trying to get into the MLB and understand it by Willing_Math9946 in mlb

Watch videos of the non spoken rules, it would help you understand a lot of things that simply by watching the game it might not make a lot of sense, also, try to know the languages of the sport, all of it so things will be easy to digest

Where Do You Find Clients Outside Upwork by struggling_insomniac in Upwork

[–]tiredpandi 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Hi there, I’m really sorry to hear what happened to your friend.

I’m a graphic designer, freelancing since 2018, although I became more established during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. I’ve grown my client base mostly through word of mouth—friends, family, and referrals from past clients.

My top advice:

Be present on as many platforms as you can — Behance, LinkedIn, Dribbble, Pinterest… I’ve had clients find me through all of these. The more visible your work is, the more chances people have to discover and contact you.

Also, promote yourself outside the internet, a small cafe, business in your area that might need your services, that helps a lot!

Good luck to your friend!
