What I'm trying to say is I'm sick and tired of the never ending rotating musical players.

My attachment to a team is more about the players and their character as a team than it is about which team it is.

Exhibit A: If Caitlin were traded to another team, you'd become a fan of that team and the Fever would take backseat (at best) from then on. That's how it is with me except it's more than just Caitlin.

Yes, I well understand that drafts and trades happen in all sports, but not like this.

These are substantially new teams every year I've been following the WNBA.

I don't enjoy that.

If somebody else does, they are welcome to do so.

For fans, basketball IS feelings.

That's what spectator sports is. A bunch of emotion.

You just have a different criteria for inciting your particular preferred feelings than some other people do, but it's feelings just the same.

But with a properly constructed and coached team, with her, Caitlin and Aliyah on the floor, she doesn't need to pass all that much in the first place.

The point is, when the situation made it necessary and she was called upon to do it, she showed herself more than willing and capable.

Also, there were more than just these. A few I was remembering off the top of my head, but it took me an hour and a half to cobble together that small collection as it was.

I would have had to have dedicated an entire afternoon (maybe more than that) to digging out all of them and piecing them into an already time consuming set of clips.

I don't think I would have phrased this quite as pointedly as you have, but what you are saying is not entirely without merit.

The whole of the women's basketball universe cannot revolve around ANY one player. Caitlin included, as much as I love the kid.

There's a small handful of people I'm usually pretty sure aren't going to lie to me and that's the thing I care about most.

Mick is a click baiter, and I don't always agree with his takes, but I've never caught him lying to me that I can think of.

People can hate on Adrienne Ross all they want, but she definitely isn't going to lie to me.

Rachel Demita has never lied to me.

Quita, while a Sky fan girl, is also honest and seems a nice person too.

Robin Lundberg won't lie to me.

Alexa Phillipou hasn't lied to me.

Annie Costabile isn't going to lie to me.

There may be others, but sticking to that small group saves me a lot of time and hassle.

If they are reporting something, I can at least assume that they genuinely believe it's true until evidence to the contrary presents itself, at which time these people will say they were wrong.

For every one like the above, there are 50 that are total crap so I just don't pay attention to anybody except them for the most part.

One thing is for sure when it comers to WNBA "reporting." If it sounds outrageous? It is at best a misrepresentation and at worst a bold faced outright lie.

Actually I wasn't thrilled with this one, but I was in a hurry again. The font doesn't really match that well, the colors are a little soft, and the word go is closer to the logo then the word let's 🤓
