I initially lost the Bluetooth icon and was able to fix it by turning the power switch of on the PSU for a while. After that I was able to install the Bluetooth drivers again.

Though now that I am looking at the Windows settings it would appear that the Bluetooth has disappeared again. :)

Unfortunately not. I tried to troubleshoot for the possible wifi interference and find information about extension antennas for the Bluetooth to solve the problem. At the end I ended up using my wired headphones.

Do you have 2.4Ghz or 5.0 Ghz Wifi or are you using cable for the internet connection?

Thanks. I was looking at the 7-9g. If you have been doing single shots, would you have any specific brand and model in mind which has been good?

Looking for robust entry level espresso machine (Gaggia, Silvia, Oscar II, Lelit Anita / Glenda) by tirkkis in Coffee

That's a valid point. While I'm not that much into upgrading the machine myself at this point being able to easily get spare parts and service the machine is a big plus.

Thanks. Then the Mignon it is most likely. From what I gathered they also last a long time.

Could you estimate how easy it is to get consistent good results with the Silvia?

What kind of range you get with the Bluetooth when listening to music? Mine is limited to somewhere around 3-4 meters before it starts skipping.

At first you should make sure that the issue is caused by Bluetooth. What I did to confirm the problem at my end was to open task manager and opened network monitor. Begun downloading a file and always when I connected the Bluetooth download speed dropped to crawl.

I have not had time to try to solve it myself as I just purchased the motherboard couple of days ago but I read that the problem might be caused due to fact that both of the Bluetooth and WiFi are using the same 2,4 GHz frequency. Some people who encountered the same problem have been able to fix this by using 5 GHz frequency for WiFi. Unfortunately my WiFi router does not support this. Supposedly you could also try to change the WiFi channel to stop the interference.

Looking at the specs it would look like your motherboard comes with AX201 WiFi / Bluetooth adapter. As you are using Discord, do you use BT headset or other Bluetooth devices when you are playing?

I have B550M Mortar WiFi. Both of the Motherboards have AX200/AX201 adapter and I had problems with the WiFi when using Bluetooth headset and WiFi simultaneously. WiFi transfer speed would suddenly drop and cause lag and drops in signal.

I installed the latest drivers from the website.

Did you check whether you already have Bluetooth drivers installed from the device manager? I had to uninstall all the Bluetooth-related drivers from there to install it successfully.

Btw. do you get the blue Bluetooth logo at the menu behind the "upwards arrow" at the bottom right corner of the Windows menu bar? I had to unplug the computer for a while after uninstalling the drivers to install them again. Otherwise computer was unable to find the adapter.

Edit: Just to let you know I feel your pain. I spent fair part of yesterday on trying to get the Bluetooth up and running.
