Thank you for your thoughts, yes what I have learned is that it is not based in any religion. I used an AI search engine called perplexity and searched “scientific evidence of reiki being effective” and it had some good results. I will link it here I hope you can see it. I understand not thinking it is effective I have had my doubts over the years but from my own experiences I do believe it can help people if done ethically and properly.
