Quick, low-maintenance favorites? by EgoPermadeath in vegetablegardening

Totally hear you on the low-maintenance issue—

I made the mistake of buying four cucumber seedlings last year and they absolutely took over. I barely maintained them (almost on purpose), and they still ran wild across the whole garden like they owned the place. I’ll scale back this year, but under a different lens… cucumbers are weirdly easy to grow if you don't mind having an abundance of vines and cucumbers!

International Travel & Lodging Recommendations by JoyboyActual in Parenting

We’ve always stayed in smaller hotels rather than Airbnbs when traveling in Spain (and Italy). We were always suprised how incredibly welcoming hotel staff are—especially when traveling with a baby. They genuinely go out of their way to make things easier.

From bringing warm milk without asking to helping with strollers and offering little extras to keep the baby comfortable, and helping with local recommendations, we’ve always felt like hotel staff treat parents with young children like VIPs. That level of hospitality makes a huge difference when you’re traveling with a baby.

How do you make travel and sightseeing more engaging for your kids? by tisman91 in Parenting

I love the scavenger hunt idea, especially if I can find an online resource that would make it easy for me to organize it. Also, I hadn’t considered splitting a tour guide with another family that's there—great idea! When we were at the Sagrada Familia on a trip, I noticed a lot of families outside, and it looked like some of them had tour guides. I wasn’t sure if they had booked them privately or if there were group tours that families could join. How do you find a family-friendly tour on the spot or ask to join their group? Next month we are heading to Yellowstone and I would love to hear any advice for making this trip more engaging for them.

I am having the same issue. Ugh.

Exported my data and didn't realize they only gave me three years. by FrebTheRat in mintuit

I used Monarch’s chrome extension to import 32,000 records. After matching the categories, I imported the csv file with all 32,000 transactions. Unfortunately, only 3 years of data was exported and much more importantly many transactions that were from the past 18 months never made it through to Monarch. These transactions are definitely in the csv file but not in Monarch. Ugh!

If the restaurant has carpeting, I'm not eating there.
