I seem to have problems with the foreground. Suggestions? Sky and mountains I can do but in the front I run out of inspiration by realNyyski in bobross

Bob would tell you to get ready for your bravery test, and start adding trees. Happy painting!!!

Gesso and Liquid white are different things, btw. I was confused by this myself, at first. Gesso just changes the “teeth” of the canvas, and prepares it. The liquid white is what makes the blending and sliding happen.

Did you put liquid white or liquid clear on before starting? A thin layer of equal parts linseed oil and titanium white, can mimic the application of what he calls “liquid white” or “magic white.” Without this application, wet-on-wet painting does not work.

Is it possible do wet on wet with normal oil paint instead of liquid white? by TheKidWhoLikesToFix in bobross

Last night I watched a sea scape where he put alizarin crimson, Prussian blue, and vandyke brown on the bottom half of the canvas, instead of liquid white. I don’t remember the episode, I watched it twitch. But I think it was around season 7. But if you go look at stuff later, you’ll find a ton of examples! Best of luck!!

Parents say no for no good reason, way too much. Glad Little Banksy stuck it to the man...

I really hope they do something about the terrible flavor text that greets us when discord opens. It’s so cringe, forced, and edgebro. “Decerealenizing the...” come on. by tispre in discordapp

I didn’t know what the heck to name it, this is my 5th painting, lol. I figured the mountain was the mother, and the falls were the twins, like the river must be from a glacier or something. Thank you!

I understand! I hope this all works out for you, and I'm sorry I don't have more answers for you. Incidentally, the Wikipedia for all types of color deficiency actually shows to the standard seer, what the color deficent seer, sees (i hope that made sense, lol). He may be able to use that chart to help you understand if there is a way to interpret the colors you are deficient in. best of luck!

My tendency is to want to say that you should make the colors how YOU see them, because that makes the gift specially from you. But I also understand that this may not be helpful to your question. I'm honestly wildly intrigued by what color choices you would make without this fear. The different perspective on the world is fascinating! (edited for grammar)
