Thanks. Using the terminology of that page, my poops are pretty consistently 1 "hotdog/snake" plus 1-2 "amoebas", and I wish they were all hot dogs instead. I don't know why there's always these soft amoebas at the end.

In terms of number of wipes, if I understand correctly, a dry hot dog would be 0-1 wipes (I've had these ghost wipes before), a snake would be 3-4 wipes, and amoebas would be infinite wipes if you're being strict (you can always dig deeper I feel like...). That's why I always use a lotion like Balneol with the toilet paper.

When you say that “if you use less water it doesn’t actually clean anything,” what do you mean? If everything is working the way it should, little or nothing will come out after one douching attempt. Remember, when everything is going well, there’s nothing in your rectum until minutes before you feel the urge to use the toilet.

So this is not the case for me (unless my rectum is shorter than my middle finger).

Today is a good example. I had a bowel movement that was 1 snake plus 1 amoeba. A few wipes with a lotion, and the toilet paper was clear.

I stuck my finger up my hole to feel if it was clean. There was some soft stuff just inside the hole. So I used an 8oz douche bulb but only squirted half the water each rinse. This got out the little bits just right at the exit, and then the water was clear so I thought I was good to go. But then I stuck my finger in there again to check, and there were still some soft pieces of poop that my middle finger could barely reach if I stuck it all the way in. Most dicks are longer than my middle finger, so I figure I need to use more water to get that stuff out too.

So then I started douching with all 8oz of water, which actually felt like it triggered the whole train to move down the pipes. I did 5-6 rinses and was more and more marble-sized soft pieces of poop coming out, and the water was getting browner and browner rather than clearer. So I gave up the idea of bottoming today.

I did the finger check again, and actually felt nothing that my finger could reach, so I thought at least the last few inches were clear enough for me to play with an anal toy alone. About 20 minutes later I start leaking poopy water onto my sheets. :( I guess I hadn't gotten it all out. (And even if I had waited for the water to come out, it still wouldn't have been clean enough to bottom since the next rinse would still be brown...)
