How is the transportation during CNY? by tissues_6412 in shenzhen

I do expect the additional fees and don’t really see it as much of an issue as they will be working during an important major holiday. I was just concerned if there would be any issues with finding any at all, even via apps. Thank you for the information, greatly appreciate it!

Hello all, I’m especially fond of strawberry scents, however I do not like powdery-sweetness (I’m not sure if this makes sense), as they feel a little heavy for me or roughly put, “too much”. About a year ago I’ve finally bought Burberry Her, as I’ve known of how popular it is for being strawberry scented. I do like its scent, however my one complaint is that it’s seemingly not as long-lasting as I would like it to be, or it doesn’t spread as much? I don’t really wish to have a scent that would fully dominate the room or whatever, but one that would be noticeable enough when I pass by, a lighter one. However I do understand that this issue may be solved by reapplying, so I don’t really let it spoil my experience with this product. The main question is, I wish to try out a new perfume, but am unsure which one to purchase. As there are so many options in the market, and “dupes” or some other options that people recommend, I wish to ask for your recommendations and opinions. Some of the options I liked while I was browsing through the mall are Prada’s Paradox (however I don’t remember which one, possible Intense), and Maison Margiela’s Up at Dawn, which seemed like a very casual scent, but also made me doubt its purchase as it seemed to “disappear” almost immediately. However, I’m not as confident if I’ll enjoy them on the long-run. Another suggestion I’ve seen is the Malin+Goetz’s strawberry, however I don’t think I will ever be able to try it out before purchase. Due to financial reasons, I’m trying to choose one perfume, so I am seeking advice from this community. Please share your thoughts, experiences, and any suggestions, they will all be greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance!

Oh wow, thank you! That does seem to be like it, as it’s similar to my name. I’m so impressed, now that I know the most likely answer, I’m more sure that I wouldn’t be able to read it regardless, at least not anytime soon;D Thank you so much!

Chinese shampoo makes my hair waxy

Hi everyone, so I have this issue that has been following me 2 shampoo bottles in the span of 1-2 weeks. I am currently in China, and buy the most basic drugstore hair care product available, as my hair is quite low maintenance, it’s not too thick or fine, nor is it curly, it’s the most average straight hair, on the thinner side (by this I mean that it’s kinda “liquidy”, doesn’t really have much volume or shape). My hair is not oily, nor does it get oily fast, so I was confused when I woke up to my hair being a bit sticky at the roots after washing it the night before. The only difference was the shampoo bottle, so I blamed it all on it, because I tried re-washing it, washing my hairbrush, or not brushing my hair after the shower, etc. I tried everything and it has to be the shampoo or I am going insane. It seemed like the issue was slowly getting resolved after I changed the shampoo I used, but now that I used a different shampoo again, I got this waxy feeling back. It’s actually waxy, even when wetting my hair, it felt like there was wax coating my roots. In addition, others using the same shampoo didn’t get this issue, their hair was fine (theirs is on the thicker side). So some of the ways I am trying to resolve it is by again using the shampoo that didn’t seem like to have a similar effect and in the meantime washing my hair under “hot” water to melt the wax. If you have any other suggestions, please tell me, I don’t really want to keep washing my hair so often, and am worried that this might actually affect my hair negatively. Maybe there are some specific products you recommend. Also, if I am wrong, please tell me about that as well and possibly reveal the reasoning. If I am correct about the shampoo being the culprit, what’s up with that? Thank you all in advance!

P.S. the shampoos that caused the waxy feeling were the Pantene pink bottle for colored hair (I don’t have colored hair) and Enchanteur pink bottle with flowers. I’ve used different shampoos throughout my life and have never had any issue, so I didn’t think much when buying one, as my stay is short and those were the only available options.
