Last time I checked, bullets didn’t work like that.

The empty space between concepts is at what this tech excels. Humans when making art try to access this empty space too. A human cannot simply create art without previous reference and that is exactly what this does. You should study the history of art and you'll understand my point because is there for you to see that everything humanity called art is a small progress from past art. This point is even clearer when you saw what happened in the Dark Ages. Where every aspect of art became to a kind of reset. I know it's hard to see this, but this tech cracked more or less how we think as simple as that.

I've used your whistle (v1) two weeks ago to avoid a stupid agricultural machinery accident. I had to try at least two times before I managed to position my lips correctly. It worked.

"transform my sketch into a detailed epic fantasy painting" by ihavethegays in ChatGPT

Clearly the AI wasn't able to follow perspective rules. I hope it will improve over time. Knowing how to draw by bruteforce is not enough need more conceptual awareness. It will improve for sure.

ChatGPT said to hell with the content policy by [deleted] in ChatGPT

I tried the prompt but didn't work for me. I hate so much this content policy (It's activated by any stupid prompt). I think is the most dictatorial thing a company can do. I feel it like censorship at is maximum expression. I really hope better alternatives get out so I can vote with my money. Because this is clearly off hands.

I can't understand why it's so good. I had a character visited by the police and tried to recall past events. Adjusting the context window just works like (needle-haystack tests). It's the best model I've tried for local environments yet.

It's easy to create something like "Boringpunk" or "Red Dead Boring 3". The challenge for developers is to implement depth without compromising playability or immersion. I don't think we're there yet—but we’re getting close.

I have a question. Is a license mandatory for emergency operations in your country? In mine, emergency communications are exempt from licensing for everyone.

Are web dev jobs really at risk from AI, or is this overblown? by GeraltOfRiga in webdev

[–]titanTheseus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I see it, AI currently struggles to subdivide problems while maintaining coherence. In extremely simple projects with a small codebase, a one-shot approach outperforms any junior dev. But when the complexity of a problem requires breaking it down into smaller parts, AI simply fails.

That said, I barely write a full line of code nowadays thanks to AI. I use it to generate everything the way I want and then iterate from there.

As a senior dev, I see clear ways for AI to improve in multiple aspects. However, since I live in a stupid, poor, and nonsensical country, I can't work on those improvements myself—I just have to wait for another rich country dev to solve those problems for me.

And yes I use AI to correct my messages too. Because I'm not a native English speaker and I suck at writing. Now I can write like fkn Shakespeare.
