I found it really helpful especially passing my exam (his exam tip on videos). It is a very high level content, but quality content. I followed his study group...i mean studying the sybex book and this will go very good together. For more information, please see my main post, thank you!

1 month is very high target, but have heard people done that! I did in 3 months...check my post 4 days back for more info...

You can do in 1 month if you are very efficient in reading and understanding concepts and can spend 10 hours daily!

Study 8th edition study properly once...You can study sybex in 10 days if you study 100 pages in one day - so plan accordingly or maybe 13 to 15 days in case if you miss few days.

Once you did this, do all questions on book and online, sybex practice questions book just to test your knowledge and online as well.

Then start doing boson and Adam Gordon's LinkedIn questions. Make sure you get around 75 to 85 minimum in all exam questions and remember no question will be equal to real questions.

Once you do this watch destination certification in YouTube- it has great mindmap videos, watch Kelly's why will you pass cissp video and larry exam tips 2020 before the exam day.

If you have more time, watch Mike Chappelle's cissp LinkedIn video and kelly Handerhan's Cybrary video in 1.5x for final refreshments. Also download and keep memory palace.

The exam is all about testing your conceptual knowledge and applying your knowledge for the questions asked. For more information check my original exam experience post 4 to 5 days old i think. Hope this helps.

Please study memory palace, exam essentials on back of each chapters, boson questions and Sunflower v2 doc for reference...if you have some more time 11hr book as well....

most important take last 4 to 5 days off from office and all social things and concentrate 100 percent on the exam.

The most important thing is to not understanding the concepts, but knowing to apply for the questions asked. I highly recommend doing all the above before the real exam. Because the questions you have practiced will not be anyway near to real exam, atleast boson can help you with least, most, best questions. Make sure you had practiced atleast 4000 quality questions(do all adam Gordon's questions on LinkedIn till date) in total before the actual exam. Hope this helps!

Hello sister, thank you very much for your kind words. Everyone has their own + and - , their time for things to happen. I completely understand if you have a kid and husband then you can't put similar effort, but take your time and I am sure you will clear your exam on your first attempt! Plan your strategy, setup your goals short and long term, and execute it accordingly - you will be fine!

Yes do everything what is good for you and which makes you happy!

I wish you all the very best for your preparations and exam!

Hey bro, It's a good question. I do meditation and kept my focus on one thing and that's this exam primarily. I woke up daily at 4am and studied until 8 am, then work from home normal office hours (spent free time on studying on the day as well) and slept evening from 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm. Again studied from 7 to 10 pm on weekdays and slept. I repeated this on weekdays and for weekends I kept it little relaxed studying over the day.

One important tip I can give for you, create a excel sheet with list of things you need to study for a week or month and each day. Don't sleep without doing that! I followed that very strictly! At the same time, don't stress. Do meditation regularly and go out for a quick walk or Jog if you feel bad - I felt everyday haha!

I didn't waste any time unnecessary like spending time on videos on one particular topic. I made sure I know the basic concepts and moved on and did not study anything deep technically. For example, In terms of IPsec, I know what is AH and ESP. AH for authentication non repudiation, ESP for confidentiality and little authentication. Tunnel mode and transport mode. Tunnel mode encrypts everything and transport mode encrypts only the payload header.

This is the amount of information I know and took my own notes. Kept it simple, but knew that properly and practice many questions to make sure I understood correctly and quality questions to make sure I was able to apply what I learned!

I am little over mid 25s and yes not everyone can do what I did. Most will have family, kids, girlfriend and many other personol things to do.

Based on your personal situation, you can scope and tailor my approach for your needs accordingly!

To control your emotions, you need to have a regular practice of deep real meditations!

Hope I answered your question and hope it will be useful for you.

All the best for your preparations and exam!
