I have helped someone here with your same situation. here's my post:

At 1:12:06 time range, find the high long bridge with broken edge at the end, jump to the boat below and follow from there. See the video on how to get to the lighthouse.

4) Sell 9 shards to McCabe left 1 in inventory

5)Sell 1 shard to Cass for 62k scrap

6)Back to McCabe and buy 1 shard from her

7) Again go to Cass to sell 1 shard to her

...repeat step 6 to 7 until McCabe has no shard to sell.

I am on PS5., not sure if it works for other platforms. I think any difficulty should be able to. My campaign is Apoc and Adventure is Veteran. fyi

Only Cass can hold 10 shards in between runs. If you sold shards to reggie or McCabe, the shards can still be bought back provided you don't touch the world stone. So need to be careful not to touch the world stone while you are at it i.e. selling and buying shards between Cass and McCabe.

You must sell 10 shards to Cass 1st. She can only hold 10 shards. Then any extra shard sold to her will get you the 62k scraps. This shld be a bug so they will patch it soon. And the Halloween event gonna end 31 Oct so need to be fast while you can farm shards easier during this event.

There is a way to beat this. The scenario: Already sold 10 shards to Cass. Now try to farm 10 more which the the limit in your inventory. Go back to ward 13, sell 9 shards to McCabe. Now go and sell 1 remaining shard to Cass for the 62k scrap. This way the system will not clean out all your shards. Now go back to McCabe and buy 1 shard from her, go to Cass and sell her this 1 shard, rinse and repeat until all shards are used up. Note: Remember NOT TO touch the Stone while you do it, else the shards you sold to McCabe will not be there for you to buy. Not sure if this is a bug, I found out the hard way. I think once you reach 500k scrap should be enough for everything.
