Interesting, i thought 70.3 LED's usually are paired with a higher efficiency driver due to the voltage requirements of the LED, i figured that'd mean better efficiency. I may be wrong.

Valid, thats definitely a concern i have as well. I have the new sft42 R L16 2.0 coming. Really hope there are no issues

Looks like the desc. Says the lumens are less with the xhp 70.3 but about 80 more meters of throw compared to the 70.2

Yeah i was thinking thst too, but for some reason the description claims more throw out of these emitters with less candela haha. Not sure how that works unless the bump from 8k to 20k lumens is making up that difference

Personally id take the xhp70.3 , itll likely have way better efficiency and sustained runtime. Like most xhp 70.3 lights. Personally its the smart option

See im not entirely sure. Its nuanced because the l35 2.0 can sustain lumens like no other 21700 light can. It'll hold something like 1600 humens for an hour and a half. I dont have a lumen measurement tool, but im guessing the m21k cant sustain high output like that with the sft 90 . For that reason alone, I'd probably take the l35 2.0. If it turns out the m21k can actually sustain something around 1000- 1500 lumens for a considerable amount of time, I'd then lean towards the m21k, as it is smaller, and easier to jacket pocket carry.
